Thanks I moved back to the house from a 3,000 SQFT location about three years ago. I closed in my carport and added a bathroom. I have been happy with the move. It keeps people out of my house.

I got them in January and use them more and more. First impression they are so light weight and kind of cheaply made but you do have to be careful with them. You can take them on location real easy.
Thanks for your note sorry did not see this right away. Love the V flats. The are flimsey and I have to replace the velcro from time to time but work great.

I have a question. I’m learning photography and I’m told to use focus points on the eyes. In this video it looks like you are just pointing and shooting. So how can you do that if there needs to always be a focus points on the eye? And if you don’t mind me asking…. What setting is your camera on? Are you on M, P, or Av?
When using window light like this I was using I think a 2.8 setting on the f-stop. My Nikon z6 was set to search the eyes but sometimes does not work as it should. If I hit a cheek or even the nose the setting will still give me enough depth of field to stay clear. When I am using studio light inside I am set to maybe f-8 so this setting helps me on keeping the groups clear. When doing groups if you are set to 2.8- or even 5.6 make sure each head is on the same plane. When posing take a look that you don't have someone too far back from the other in your focus area.
Hey Karen, I am sorry I just came back to reviewing my channel and saw your note. I alway leave my camera on Manual. I feel I have more control. Since I am working with flash in the studio the light around me is not an issue so I am at 125 or 160 of a second. My F stop setting in the studio is often around f8 or f11 at ISO 160 ( I am an old film guy). If I want to drop my focus I will power down my lights and maybe go to f3.5. When I go to the window of course everything changes.Now my main light is the window. With kids I want to stay shape but add some softness to the background When I had the two children I was I think about f5.6. Doing just one child I can get my focus on the face and walk it to f2.8. I love the softness of the window light. The large soft screen I have really adds a lot to the soft light look. I got it from Having the option for window light and flash with different background offers great options for sales. Sorry I did not see your question sooner. Hi sorry I just saw your comment. It is a mono pod I think I got it from B&H photo years ago. If you are doing studio work it is the real deal. Rolls very easy and has a place to attach stuff if need. They make a number of different types you want to look for a rolling mono pod. Thanks,

Hi thanks for your note sorry just saw you note. I am using a ring light I got from B&H. I went to Lowes and purchased a few led lights that were 5200k light balanced and bounce off a with reflector. The ring light is great simple and works great.

Hi Zory, Sorry for the delay I am coming back around going over my channel and saw your note. I am using some older Photogenic light I had for years. I use one for my main light with a 3ft by 5 ft Larson soft box.I have another Photogenic light mounted on the wall behind me I use as a fill light. I mostly set my main light to about f8 and my fill is about 5.6. If I want a more shadows I will drop the power on the fill light to make changes. Unless I am looking for a certain look it mostly stays in that ratio. I expose for my main light. I think I have had it since 1998. I am thinking of going to a round box. I use three Godox's outdoors when I go on location I love that system.

I have regular tripods for my two Nikon Z6's. I use a 70-200 to highlight the subjects interview and a 24-70 for the wide shots. I use a couple of mini Zoom recorders to match my sound.
