I was having the worst day I've had in months until I watched this. Honestly, you really made me feel better. You may think you are just showing tutorials but you are providing such a calming, relaxing and satisfying space on youtube. Thank you so much! xo
Thank you so much for sharing that-it truly means a lot to me. I'm so glad the video could brighten your day and provide some comfort. Your kind words are incredibly encouraging and motivate me to keep creating. Wishing you much brighter days ahead! :)
I'd been contemplating making some of these clips after the first time I saw someone use one....your method is sooooo much simpler then what was running through my head....Thank you!
I also started making and using these after seeing someone else use them. It seems that surprisingly many people are unaware of this, so I uploaded a video along with the pattern. I hope it helps even a little. Thank you!

Good idea, thank you. I just made one for a 51 mm clip, with one difference: I only punched holes for the wires. 15 mm distance, and 124 mm from one hole line to the other. It works perfect. I will use the padded clips for makramee bracelets.
What a great idea! This will work so much better than the duct tape rig I've been using lol. Thank you for making and sharing man. Love your video style and everything you make btw, thanks again ❤
Thanks a lot! This idea is something I saw and started using myself. It seems like not many people know about it, so I decided to make a video. Someone also asked me to make a video on it too. I hope this pattern comes in handy for you. Honestly, I sometimes doubt my videos, but comments like yours really give me a boost. Thanks again!
@plan.b Im sorry to hear you sometimes have doubts about your videos, man, I get it. Its not easy. I honestly think its what makes your videos and books so good - you have very high expectations of what you create and an eye for detail for every aspect, and thats a good thing, even if it brings some doubt. I hope youre able to embrace the unsureness and discomfort that comes from it, because whatever youre doing, you always do it really really well. And there are heaps of people who are awed and inspired by what you do, and who truly appreciate the way you do it. Youre making art, simple as that ❤️ Keep your head high and do what makes you happy man, and you will make others happy with you, always.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It really means a lot to me to hear this, especially when doubts creep in sometimes. Your encouragement gives me strength to keep pushing forward and reminds me why I love doing this. I’ll do my best to keep creating and sharing what I enjoy. Thank you again for your support-it truly inspires me. ❤️
Idk ... this 1st video of yours that I just so thoroughly enjoyed deserved that I leave this comment for you to say, your sharp cuts shots are so satisfyingly satisfying in a way that I've only just now experienced. so, thank you. and your ambient audio is a bit loud, but, otherwise ... yay ... 🎉❤😂❤🎉
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the video and found the cuts satisfying. I'll take note of your feedback about the ambient audio and work on improving it in the future. By the way, I adjusted the sound to a suitable level, but TH-cam sometimes boosts sounds that fall below their standards. It's a bit of a headache, honestly. Your support means a lot-thank you! 🎉❤
I purchased this from a local market. However, the same product is also available on Etsy. Please use the link as a reference and feel free to buy from a more affordable source. Thank you! Honestly, I’m not always confident about the sound either, but I try my best to keep it as natural and fitting to the process as possible. I really appreciate you noticing that! 😊 Don’t get too carried away with the tools, though. Lol. Here’s the purchase link for you: www.etsy.com/listing/189660618/leather-edge-round-cutter-ver1-durable?click_key=ba132154b6097233844340296fe93ae9d50a2a40%3A189660618&click_sum=2b878ded&ref=search2_top_narrowing_intent_modules_top_rated-3
I didn’t explain it in detail. 😊 If you use clips directly on leather without a cover, they can leave marks on softer, scratch-prone leather. I covered them to prevent those marks. It’s also a great way to make use of scrap leather. Thank you!
Thanks for the vid and the pattern man, wish you all the best in 2025! Ps soon I'll be making a notebook cover based on your pattern - mine will be tooled though. Fingers crossed for the final outcome
Thank you so much for your kind words about the video and the pattern! Wishing you all the best in 2025, too. I can't wait to see how your notebook cover turns out with the tooling-it's going to look amazing! :)
Haha, thanks for waiting! I hope it didn’t feel like waiting for a new season of your favorite show. 😅 Wishing you an amazing 2025 too! I’ll try to do a little better this year!
I respect your opinion, but I believe there are people who would find this useful. It’s not as bulky as it might seem, and it provides excellent protection for the leather. Personally, I’m satisfied with using it to protect my leather items.
Really? 😮 Thank you for the feedback.🙏 But even if I lower the volume, TH-cam automatically adjusts the sound to their standards. This can be quite problematic for creators like me who work with quieter sounds. I’m not sure how to handle it. Also, I recently bought a new microphone because of the noise issues, but I’m not sure if it will improve.🤔

Dude, turn your microphone down! 😮 this whole video was needlessly NOISY! 😖
Really? 😮 Thank you for the feedback.🙏
But even if I lower the volume, TH-cam automatically adjusts the sound to their standards.
This can be quite problematic for creators like me who work with quieter sounds.
