I was at their show at the French Lick Resort a few weeks ago. It was great hearing the gospel songs and praise the Lord with so many other believers. The Gaither Vocal Band was super nice to everyone after the concert too. God bless.

Hi brother I disagree, Jeremiah 10:1-5 go and read. It is such a time as this where true believers will worship in Spirit and truth. It is not enough anymore to go with feelings, it is our responsability as believers in Jesus to ensure we know the truth. Christmas and other pagan feasts like Easter have nothing to do with Gods children and we should treat them with the disgrace they deserve. Go and look for the roots of theses feasts then you will realise we should not celebrate them. If you or these singers dont know by now that Jesus was not born on 25 December then you are in for a big surprise. Are we really celebrating Jesus on Christmas? I used to love the Gaithers music but if i have to weigh this matter up with the Bible and it does not sit at the same table. This is why I dont celebrate Christmas. Blessings

It does not make sense to celebrate your birth day each year on the same day while it is not your birth day on that day and worse, we just say we know it is not Jesus birth day. In fact it is the birth day celebration of a pagan God and yet we allow this evil to be part of our lives just because it looks nice and we have good meaning. For this reason, I made the personal choice NOT to celebrate Christmas as the birthday of Jesus. As far as the "holiday time," I can joyfully celebrate family & the FACT that Jesus came to earth (God in the flesh, EMMANUEL. I stay out the malls, with all the hype of "buying" so much! I choose to mark this time with private time with Jesus, thanking God for His gift to us through sending His son Jesus Christ!
