  • @rdr2dgrv99
    @rdr2dgrv99 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +16

    I still remember being glued to the set watching the Ravens play against the undefeated Patriots. 2007 wk 13. Brady attempted a 4th & inches with 1:48 to go, and failed. The Ray Lewis jumped up and celebrated, only to discover his sideline had called a timeout at the last second. Then a false start on the Patriots the ensuing play. Brady went on to get the 1st down with the slowest scramble ever. The Patriots went on to win that game. Man!! The look on Ray Lewis face after that timeout said it all. The only loss for the Patriots that year came in the Super Bowl to Eli Manning and the NY GIANTS... I believe the Ravens game gave them the blueprint.

    Brady & his sheer will-- Manning & his cerebral mentality-- and alllll the offensive weapons they BOTH had thru the years..... was just an out n out epic battle every time they played against 1 another. BUT, when either of them had to inevitably square off against Ray Lewis & that ever dangerous & vaunted Raven's Defense (especially in the playoffs) ....you just knew that we, as fans, were about to be spoiled & treated to a legendary match-up that was filled to the brim with some of the greatest players to ever step out onto the gridiron. Manning, Brady, Moss, Harrison, Wayne, Gronk, Welker, Brown, Branch, and Thomas, etc..... VS Lewis, Reed, Suggs, Boulware, Woodson, Ngata, Dumervil, etc. What's not to love!?!? That's a dream match-up that we'll more then likely never see the likes of again SMH
    RIP to this long lost golden era of legends & all-pros!

    I want see a docuseries where the key players, coordinators and head coaches tell stories about facing each other in Key games throughout the history of the NFL. Discussing the prep process, the notes they made, the stories about practice, and how they played out in the actual game. While one team is talking about their process the other team is talking about theirs the key to the show is talking about they strategies, secret observations they made, and if it worked or not…I can see that being a Omaha type of show in ESPN

I’m so sick of nobody giving credit to his teammates😂 if Malcolm butler doesn’t intercept that pass against Seattle, Brady would have been 3-3 in the super bowl with 3 straight losses. It’s amazing to hear Hall of Fame players talk about each other but for anyone who doesn’t realize what Ray is saying Brady didn’t have the luxury of being able to throw it as deep as he wants on damn near every play because of Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne well, playing in a dome. No Brady was playing in quarterback hell up in Foxboro Massachusetts. With converted quarterbacks and Walmart cashiers as his main targets so he had to break the game down in a way Peyton didn’t have to.

    Knowing how feared his physicality was, its sometimes refreshingly suprising to be reminded how feared intelectually he was as well

    Its not Manning, Brady and Rogers.... Its Manning, Brady and Lewis, the three field generals, the three chess masters, the three legends of legends
