- How to carve a scary pumpkin, silly pumpkin, and a traditional pumpkin for Halloween. If I can carve these jack o' lanterns I know you can too. I’ve actually never done this before so I’m thrilled with how well these pumpkins turned out. I even threw in some smoke bombs for good measure. My favorite of these pumpkins is the scary evil eye. I would love to try this with giant pumpkins but I got the biggest pumpkins available in my area. We had fun doing this as a family as well. My girls love getting creative. I find using the kids safety pumpkin cutter actually works best for the initial cutting and then I used clay sculpting tools to finish adding details. Thanks for watching!

This video was awesome but with the last pumpkin the eye it would have been better if he put a coloured smoke bom in it so it would come out the edges and it would look epic

It's amazing how well those tiny bladed knives work for carving. They are so much easier to use! Loved the pumpkins, and watching the process. Just a tip: After you carve, if you spray the pumpkin inside and out with a simple bleach and water solution, it won't mold and turn mushy as fast. You can also use vaseline on all the cut edges to seal in moisture to prolong the shape.

Fun fact, you can remove sharpie from dry erase boards (and maybe pumpkins) with dry erase markers. No acetone needed.
Pretty sure use can use alcohol too ( rubbing alcohol)

OMG what a huge pumkin's never saw such sizes..the pumpkin with the teeth&bracelet looks great..although I wonder do you guys also like to eat them? .. because it's kind a waist of food this..and I really love dishes with pumpkin's too

91% isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel works as well and 100 times safer to wipe off permanent marker from drawing lines on the pumpkins
Would you suggest putting a sealant over the paint?
And what did you use for shine? We used to use vodka on fondant for cakes to shine ! 😊
