@m.r.perea_s2k I mean a simple Google search will prove they're not. But also Feras is literally on the official ranking for Attack at number 3. So Attack recognizes the A7 as a valid tire, not to mention all the other cars on the ranking that have set times on A7. You're just delulu

@@OPEK. I don't think you understand how Time Attack works. The shorter the lap, the more those .1 add up. Especially on the only major acceleration point on the track, which leads to the finish line. When you consider that some Time Attack challenges come down to .001 of a second, .1 is an eternity.
On slicks, in a full silhouette racecar. This is still a road car. It runs Hoosier DOT tires and would be road legal in most states if he hooked up the lights. Also iirc the power on this thing is turned significantly down for this run

Slicks don't have grooves at all, which the A& does so you can all them semislicks. The r7 is considered clicks due to no grooves at all on the tread and are not street legal. Also told me that even if the tires are not a slick, Hoosiers have specifically stated to not drive them on the streets/highways.
He has the turbo mounted in the empty space behind the wheel well. Not only does this help evacuate air from the wheel arch, but also removes the hot turbos from under the hood, making thermal control much easier.
But then again,with tyres that wide it should be fast. 335 mm in front and 345mm wide tyres. Thats way more grip than any Japanese car competing in time attack anywhere in the world. Its certianly alot wider than what Under Suzuki's S15 has.
JGTC cars are their own monsters. Those cars were built for Japanese tracks though. Feras’s car is built for tracks like COTA and Road America. Tracks that let cars like his top out at 200+ mph…500hp couldn’t do that with JGTC downforce levels. That higher horsepower is needed to compensate for thousands of pounds of downforce at 180+mph. Either way, keeping 900hp with RWD planted enough to run a low 51 is a hell of an accomplishment. Plus Feras is way less experienced on Tsukuba than DK

Tsuchiya ran a 51 second lap with almost 500hp LESS.
This is a slow speed track. Power doesn’t do much specially since it was on traction control the whole time out of corners.
