Nice Grey Dog, Flatts is full of them and you can't go wrong with a white grunt - catches all sorts. If you're down Flatts at night at the moment, between 11pm-3am is a great time not only for Snapper but huge steel heads. Happy Hunting!
Nice vid my friend! Think those are Lane Snapper. Also good to eat. Lanes have the spot, Silks don't and are more pink. Where is the night action with the current, is that Watford Bridge? From the comments we should definitely give it a shot for Bar Jacks. See you soon.
That was Flatts under the bridge. I love hanging there with live bait! We needa get a few jacks while you're here for sure. Gonna re do the leaders for both my light setups. Raj
@@luremongers8544 Same here splurged on some 30lb Flouro. I caught chubs off the bridge when I was a kid, a no no now apparently, met this old guy, Mr. Outerbridge he set up just down from where you were. Watched him pull up a black grouper and grey snapper on a green cord handline both about 24" using a whole live ballyho. He was in the paper a few years later caught a 76lb grouper fishing Astwood Park! I can't wait.
No way bro , I went fishing Monday , caught 3 bar jacks , one was five pounds , the second one was 4 pounds and the last one was a stunning 8 pounds , the biggest bar jack I’ve ever caught . There’s hundreds around always chasing fry and bait fish in shallow water . I was using a very small yo Zuri fingerling lure 👍🏽
@@venisonz3133 Same exact thing happened to me, yo zuri fingerling, i was fishing the tide rushing through watford and got an 8 - 10 pounder not 100% sure but it was my PB

Good to see your back, are you still catching bigger jacks or do you think the jack season's done for the year?
There's a chance at an almaco Jack, the others seem to be lingering around also.

That's awesome! I gotta try and get out enough to hook a few more before it cools down.
