Joe Gibbs set records as a coach that will in all likelihood never be broken. Joe Gibbs has to be either the top or tied for the top coach of all time.

Glauber's book, while good, could have had more on Joe Gibbs.

Gibbs was a great tactician.. made the right half time adjustment and always wins the second half. He also had to reinvent his offense to counter LT

Walsh wouldn't have had near the success that he had without Montana. Thats just fact. Parcells won his SBs with defense. Gibbs was the only HC to win 3 SBs with 3 diff QBs, and there could be a case for Theismann to be in the HOF, especially with the laxed standards of today's HOF standards.

Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls with 3 QBs. No one has done that since ...

Joe Gibbs was a great coach. One of the top 2 in NFL history. But it's a different game now. He can still motivate men to do amazing things. But his 2nd go around in DC showed that Gibbs 2.0 wasn't as great as Gibbs 1.0. Yes the Redskins were a clown car of drama queens at the time. But even with the new ownership, the game has changed since 2007, not to mention 1991.

Bobby Beathard was the key to Gibbs 1.0. (Why DO people keep forgetting this critical fact?!)

@johnmassoud930 His 2.0 era was better than what happened before or after on Danny The Terrible's watch though

@@PostFamilyOfOrigin can't argue with you. Gibbs was still a great motivator of men. But even Gibbs knew the game had passed him by.
