got this on my 2015 facelift Focus. Works exactly as described on video, but it also detects bicycles (both in blind spot and when backing up). Great feature, it detects vehicles from around 30 meters.
My 2015 facelift also has this. But indeed also for bicycles in the front and back of the car.
I wish I had this feature on my 2017 GT350
Would be nice to have the cross traffic alert in the front too, for when you pull onto a blind intersection
Hello is there a way to turn on an audio alert indication?
From what I hear and see, it doesn't have the audio alert. They should let us turn the volume on and off.
Is this available on vehicles that don't have co-pilot 360?
I wish the blind spot alert was also audible like on my jeep.

@@michaelwelsh8222 They need to add an audible sound. It's common sense. I'm sure they can do it with a software update.

My 2016 Fusion Titanium has BLIS and lights work correctly - except when turning on signal. It does not blink as shown above in the video.
I have access to ForScan - does anyone know how to fix?
It's only going to blink if someone is in your blindspot
I like the BLIS system but wish Ford would move the warning light from the mirror to the inside of the vehicle. maybe to the A pillar. Reason being, while on the highway at night, I have mistaken the yellow marker lights on top of a semi-trailer for the BLIS warning light. so, I'm aways second guessing if someone is in my blind spot or a semi's marker light.
You can do this by your self! Some BLIS retrofits work this way to avoid wiring the mirrors.
It is just a LED that needs the right resistor, so the system don't set a fault code.
From each sensor runs just a wire to the LED in the mirror and from there to ground.
Please give the chime for blind spot. Just the light is not enough.

My 2013 Ford Edge Limited AWD detects other things than just cars and it’s always on the right side that the light comes on never the left. The left side works as normal but I think the right side is messed up or something
Edge are great SUVs.
Cross traffic alert on my Ranger is excessively loud. I can't find anywhere in the book or online how I can reduce the volume; if anyone can help with this please let me know. I just need it to alert me, not scare the crap out of me and my passengers...

I have the same problem. I disable it every time I drive but that’s starting to get old very fast.

I have been driving my Ford Bronco for more than 11 months, and now my BLIS system has a fault after a bad snowstorm. It's been days since the first fault, and it still needs to clear. No damage to the sensors. Is this what Ford gives you for a 98K vehicle in 2021????? I looked at the wiring leading to the rear sensors, and the black tape was rubbing onto the bumper bracket exposing wires. WOW!!! Super disappointed.

BLIS and cross traffic alert both failed on my 1 year old Ford. Great feature, but unreliable.
