Nice information, this man is very intelligent when it comes to history. This is the reason why the Asantehene is still the most powerful King in Ghana

The Gas also donated that vast land for the university to be built, so every state contributed fairly very well.

These are facts. Please Ghanaians read to know our history. All these information are in books written and the old maps with all these ancient cities by the British and other colonial masters which can even be found here in USA.

The funds for the UoG was levied on cocoa sale at the time not only cocoa from Ashantis. The most cocoa was from the western part of the country such especially Sefwi with it's abundant forest zone

Ashantis have done a lot for the country. The main economy of the country was based on the Ashante nation. Why should people hate the Ashantis

Asantes should even leave Ghana and rule ourselves. The other tribes have nothing better for Ghana.

Dormaah was thrown out of Akwamu when they rebelled.. They retraced their routes and settled with Asumenya people who were also Aduana and considered them as brothers. Things did not go well with them as they lived between Bekwai and Kokofu who were all Oyokos as well . They settled at Suntreso which was near Kwaaman another Oyoko settlement. Kwaaman who were Oyokos continued to fight with Dormaah until the latter moved away to Bomaa, Abessim and other places. So Dormaah at Suntreso never fought Asantis for there were no Asante then. They fought. Kwaaman and lost to them when Osei Tutu became Kwaaman hene. The Asante people became established with the Denkyira war. The coming together of the Akan people in the middle belt to defeat their overlord, Denkyira brought about the Asantis. Before the Asantis were formed Dormaah had already been expelled by Kwaaman people

      Lmao...conquest by who?
Cos Asantes were already independent from the British in 1935...kwame Nkrumah came to beg for a state union and was granted to him n later betrayed Asantes by dividing the land into Asante...Asante West and Brong Ahafo region

Go and read the books the British wrote. It is stated clearly. Even in the library in Washington D.C go to the African history section which was written by the whites and educate yourself. This is pure facts.

Ashanti should have become United Nations of Ashanti, if it is not our own people worked with the White people. We should learned to be United.
