If you’re taking the SSAT, the essay is expected to be a “rough draft” - not at the same level as a school essay. For the SSAT essay, you’re better off spending a little time planning the essay before you write, instead of fully editing it when you’re done. But, if you have a few minutes left at the end, you can read it over and check for spelling and punctuation. That’s all you need 🤓
