- I did my best trying to clean up the cutscene where peace walker drowns itself to try to get this version of the song "sing". it transitions between the "cleaned up" version and the original version back and forward because some parts in the original were clearer then the "cleane dup" version as using voice removing software tends to fuck up the sound and give it a weird noise. i did what i could to remove the remaining spectral noise and background sfx but alas. this is what i ended up with. let me know if you guys know of any better way of cleaning a song.

The Boss’ innocence has been proven…Do you hear it, Snake? Do you hear The Boss’ song?
Even in death, The Boss still sacrificed herself for the illusion we call Peace. A fictional character, but an ideal hero.
This Scene made me cry so much. Probably the most emotional moment in the franchise. The Boss is such an amazing character
I cried too, but more for the song that like The Boss I didn't want any more war and Snake says goodbye for the last time returning his scarf after 10 years.

The part at 2:00 makes me cry everytime. The music swelling with the missile markers disappearing, being replaced with peace signs across the world will stick with me forever.
Peacewalker, in my opinion, is both the happiest but also saddest in the series.
Most of the games in the series leave you on a depressing note, but Peacewalker's ending is good in a way. The Boss' innocence is proven, nuclear war is avoided (for now), and Big Boss rises as a hero. Despite being a good ending, it still leaves you filling with a sense of dread. That coming in the form of KNOWING what Big Boss becomes. He misinterpreted the Boss' will, frankly due to being raised as a soldier.
If it wasn't for the Peacewalker incident, Phantom Pain may have never occurred same with Zanzibarland. Perhaps Big Boss would've even been open to making amends with Zero.
Peacewalker was Big Boss' rise, Phantom Pain was his fall.
I don't care about the compression and bad sound at parts, it kinda adds that chaos of a dying AI attempting to destroy itself on its last legs, just adding to that drowning computer's heart and soul.
It's fighting through all the pain and hardness of attempting to destroy itself to save the world.

Crisis Core, Birth By Sleep, God of War, etc. and a lot of those doesn't hold back on having emotional stories.

This was the very first Metal Gear I played, so I have no idea about The Boss' physical death. But when she died spiritually, and in the end she sang... I absolutely cried. It feels like I've lost hope to live. It feels like I've lost my mother. Ending A (where the Boss gives up) is absolutely better than the other one. Thank you Hideo Kojima. Never expected to go back to a game that I was supposed to quit.
If you haven’t yet, go play mgs3. It’ll show you what became of The Boss and is the earliest point in the timeline for the series. Absolutely a must-play
The first 8 seconds are absolute eargasm, i NEED a 10 minutes loop of that part, obviously the rest of the song is Beautiful on his own, but damn those first 8 seconds

@@Stargazer10255 yea. I kinda wished it wouldve gone throughout the whole aong instead of switching to that more melodic sound with strings. It's pretty, but I think doing it with the electronic sound the whole way through wouldve been cool. Especially since it's a machine singing it

Boss... We miss you. Hope you are at peace. And keep on singing this song you love so much. (The Boss was my most favorite character, it was Metal Gear Solid 3 that made me love the MGS series. Her death in physical and mechanical form greatly affected me when I was a kid. Akin to losing a mother.)

I don't know how to explain it, this song brought tears to my eyes, the lyrics are beautiful and give a different meaning to the game, kojima fucking genius why didn't you use such a beautiful song? Even though it's not the clean version, it's beautiful.

Honestly the muffles are fine by me, it almost feels like you're there while the Mammal Pod is heavily damaged, and sacrificing herself for everyone

I think it was unique in that The original Boss was dead in MGS 3 but whoever was playing with the electronics (probably Strangelove), had articulated the will of Huey's portion so well with the Implementation of first strike nuclear ability verses preservation of the many calculated risks ...The part of the song that says Sing Out Loud even if nobody else can hear it, Sing, Sing as long as your life allows it. It really is the thing she would of done. Even if she was to die and nobody could know that it was as a heroic defender of peace.
One of the best moments in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

To be honest, I am glad that I didn't get a chance to finish this game but I am happy that I get to know. It has a really good and happy and sad ending at it. Because the song at the end, really brings me into tears. And remind me that there's peace in this world.

I made THIS video specifically because I've never found any other person that tried to do this and i felt like it needed to be done because I've always wanted to hear this song without the voices. t he original is too peppy and happy.

Yeah at times I feel it might be a new vocalyst singing at a slower rate or just a thematic edit of the original vocals
@@SaltedMallows oh yea it's a completely different version. Some people seem to think it's just the original but slowed down but it's not. It's a different vocalist, different tempo, different instruments, everyrhing

I personally believe the Boss came back and possessed Peace Walker to stop it sacrificing herself again too I suppose. Sure like Huey said maybe we just beat the machine up so much we gave it brain damage but that’s not as good.

Loading gears what i don't get is why there isnt an official soundtrack for this it would of made sense if they put this in metal gear solid 5 for you to find, unless they have a licensing issue and the person who sung this doesn't want it for free maybe?
Lee Goodman they sometimes dont add every song to soundtracks in video games. from what ive seen, they seem to add the songs they think are most prominent. mgs3 and mgsTTS had this same problem. what sucks is that, sometimes, these songs that only play once are the prettiest. much like the song that plays when you kill the boss in mgs3. it was beautiful but it wasnt in the mgs3 soundtrack

@@LoadingGears well you can't overhear it when theres a lot of vocal interference, i don't know much abbout the programm you use but can you compare two different audio tracks and filter out what both got the same ? Im not sure but i think theres also a japanese version of this ending with japanese voice actors (i am not sure if this title had a full audio japanese version but would it help ?)
Edit: the japanese vocal version exists, but i cant find the cutscene in that version on yt

Well tge song is called "sing" by the carpenters, but you probably know that by now, but the original audio file you might want from the cutscene probably got completely deleted before the game was finished, sadly

I put it on audacity and messed around with different settings of the voice remover. Then i overlayed it with the actual cutscene sounds bc there are a few seconds in the cutscenes where u can hear the song perfectly. So i kept those in.
I tried to restore this song but it was hard so I sent out a search on Instagram to see if people would help restore the song or look for it
Ive done other mgs unreleased songs.....well i think just 1 more....they're all in a playlist. I did atleast 1 more from mgs3. Its not perfect but i hope i start a trend for someone with more skills then me to give it a go

lo puse en un website que automaticamente le quita las voces a las canciones. despues lo puse en adobe premiere para alternar entre la el mp3 que me dio el website y el mp3 original dependiendo en cual suena mejor en cada tiempo y tambien trate de quitarle los sonidos en el fondo que sonaban feo usando herramientas en adobe premiere.
