Ok aditi nice question.: Firstly I am also student; No talking about this it's true that no energy is required to move any thing from Higher region to lower region, but in nature all things are present in equal amount or equal region this you want to work to make some regions higher then other. For example; in case of water the work will be done to move a beaker at higher height but no energy is required afer doing this to move water from Higher region to lower region. Talking About current we are doing work or spending energy to create and maintain the potential difference ( higher and lower ), after this energy is no longer used. Thus, energy or work is done to create that potential difference for motion of electrons not after the potential difference

Let me clear it. At many stages of life we use a reference point like origin in coordinate system in maths. Similarly in physics the infinity is taken as a reference point. On infinity potential is considered zero(0). Hope your doubt is cleared. ✌

Guys Here's the doubt First its said that the density... higher density or lower density can be said as higher potential or lower potential....But the diagram at 14:00..its said that the work done to bring the charge from infinity to a point A is electric potential.. Explain
Infinity is the lower potential here. Moreover we have taken two positive charges which repel each other. So work need to be done to move the charges towards each other that is opposite to the nature of the positive charges to repel each other.
