It is no secret Minister Fashiola is one of Nigeria’s treasures. A living legend that speaks well.
However, just as he speaks so intelligently doesn’t mean that he doesn’t lie.
I caught him in a lie more than once in this interview.
For instance, Seun asked him about his assessment of the election and he talked about preparedness, situation rooms, data, reports etc. Brilliant right?
Now Seun asked him a more direct question, “are you disappointed about the manner in with the elections were conducted with violence, ethnicity violence etc” and Mr. Fashola said “in his polling unit there where no violence”.
This time he didn’t refer to the report or data or evidences they gathered, he quickly resorted to what he saw at his polling unit. So his polling unit is standard to other areas?
So this is how the politicians lie. 😮

His replied to the question concerning violence and ethnicity queen, was that the number of the recorded violence in some polling units were insignificant compare to the total number of polling units. I don't understand how APC can still win election in nigeria after all APC has put Nigerians through enormous hardship, suffering and poverty capital of the world.
The worst of APC is better than divided opposition. If PDP had not fragmented into Atiku/Ayu, Peter Obi/Labour, Kwakwanso/NNPP and the G5; PDP would have won by up to 6 million margin.
Each of the fragments can never fulfill the spread requirements.
