Penny battle is a good one, I call it race to the bottom. Great summary of options and strategies. Still don't know why comc doesn't grant you a sponsorship? Anyway, one thought about influx of cards of new sets. If you do not send in base cards or common cards of the new set, you will have a monopoly quite likely. My strategy is to have as many monopolies as possible. Thanks for the video, have a great weekend Javad.

Good strategy on the monopoly front. I'd assume you do that for serial numbered short print kinda stuff mostly, yeah? The more common parallels would probably only give you a monopoly for a half a minute.
I agree about the COMC sponsorship thing! I don't know if maybe there's someone I should reach out to about that sort of thing, or if I should just wait for them to reach out (I know they know of my channel, the CEO has commented on videos before and they sent me a swag bag in appreciation for some of my comc videos once awhile back).

@@scoasometimes you are unlucky and even rarer cards get a pal, so the monopoly is lost, anyway numbered and sp / ssp cards mostly do it. Hard question on the comc sponsoring issue. I guess it is good they already know your channel. Thing is they tend to hand out their sponsorships to bigger channels, but whenever you see those influencers talk about comc it is more laughable, because they have not talked about comc before and suddenly they like the plattform. I guess they had to watch some of your videos to get a start-up lesson. Few other youtubers have good content in that regards. Dakota "spa" made a good one about the app and the saved searches, that one was a real helpfull . comc app has potential but a longer way to go to be successfull.

Best series you've done to date - long but insightful. Anything worth doing is worth sinking the time into it to do it properly. Do you see any upside in using comc auctions to quickly flip a card? NBA tip off promo seems like it would have a lot of eyes on it.

I don't actually like flipping to auction, though it has worked a couple times. NBA Tip off event, I'm trying again with a number of cards this year. In the past, it wasn't so good for me though. It's like it created tons of extra auction supply, but only increased eyeballs a bit. We'll see how it works this year though!

Thanks do like the videos and I am leaning towards using COMC. Any thoughts on how late 70s and early 80s topps sports cards would move? Also have vintage magic such as alliance and ice age that I may send in also. Anyone with insights would be appreciated as I am weighing sending in cards and how the turnover will be given the upfront ingestion fee. Again informative video thx

Glad the video was useful! As to your questions, I think any sports card that has some sort of demand on eBay or elsewhere will also have demand on COMC. So if its the kind of card that moves, it'll move on COMC too. It might move a little slower than if you posted on eBay, since it doesn't get quite as many eyeballs, but it does get a lot of eyes on it still. As far as Magic cards go, I don't know too much. I just looked and saw they have more than 39K Magic cards on the platform, but I don't know anything about the frequency of selling in that particular space.

So if I send in say 500 cards, I would have to price each one of these or will ComC use an average price?

    • @scoa

You have to set the price yourself.
