@@Vinay_Acharya what this person means is they shifted to Sindh part from different part of undivided India....they had different regional languages before migration....but after migration to Sindh instead of speaking Sindhi they chose to speak Urdu....it's like we go to Tamil Nadu from Punjab and choose to speak Urdu there than Tamil language.....that's what he means from what i gathered....everyone has their opinions.... democracy is all about it....arzoo does a lot of good work but she's Pakistani and yes I often observed she's lil backward and put the fake picture here....that's my opinion....not a universal truth

#arzookazmi....I wonder if it's an intentional mistake, but Mr. Fatah repeatedly gives the wrong date for International Mother Language Day. It's 21 February 1952. I think you should correct him and let your audience know the right information as well.
The message from him is more important than accuracy of a date.

This is one of the main foundational reason why pakistan gone backward- Most of the people of Pakistan don't know that The colonial system of jaghirdar / jamindar was abolished during land reforms in former East Pakistan/ East Bengal now (Bangladesh) in 1950, India in 1951 but still it is totally absence in Pakistan. Still Pakistan protecting the colonial system of jaghirdar and General's and estabilishmentse. When 1 % ( jaghirdar and Punjabi Ruling Elite and Army Establishment ) of pakistan controls 99 % Pakistan then Nothing will be OK. That 1 % was a gift of colonial British mindset. People of East Bengal ( Bangladesh ) realised that colonial mindset from 1st day but still people of Pakistan living in Denial mindset of colonialism. It's a multi organ failure of Pakistan. It's too late to make changes in course correction after 75 years in Pakistan.it's a martial race nation and its not a country for the people but it's a country for jaghirdar and General's. If the grass looks greener on the other side of the world then stop comparing -stop complaining just watering the grass where you standing on.

International Mother Language Day is 21st February not 8th January. It commemorates the Language movement on 21st February 1952 in Dhaka in which a number of young Bengalis were killed by security forces.

Sir, Kalash people of Pakistan still practice their religion which is a form of Hinduism. There indeed was an attempt to forcefully convert them to Islam but a lot of them recoverted to their former religion later. Every person's value nowadays is Money & in Pakistan religion becomes most important bargaining game at the cost of their Nation.
Many books have been written about free market economies but if any one person is responsible it is not Ayub , K. or Yahya K. but Mohammad Ali Jinnah! Mr. Fatah mentioned what Jinnah said in Dhaka in1948 about his designated language for Bengalis by choosing Urdu, spoken by 6-8% of Pakistanis that started our movement for separation. With Bangladesh gone, Punjabis/Pakistanis could no longer transfer money from the colony of E. Pakistan to develop the West and to build Islamabad and barrages on the Indus to irrigate deserts. According to Pak Planning Commission report, 50% of the revenue primarily from jute (mentioned today). No Bangladesh, therefore no money! Days of SEATO/CENTO is gone as far as USA is concerned so who will provide the cash and Afghanistan is also gone from US hold. In 1947 Bengalis were also better-educated than the tribes of the West, and Punjabis and Urdu speakers from UP, India were the dominant class. Don't mind Ms.Kazmi but that is history. Proud Bangladeshi, from Boston, USA.

An issue that amazes me and gives a glimpse of the differences between Pakistanis and Indians is how anchors and participants identify themselves on Pak TV channels. They always start with 'Hum Musalman...' than Hum Pakistani'. Indians never start with 'Hum Hindus..' but rather say 'We Indians' or "Bharat'. Therein lies the basic difference where religious identity takes precedence over national identity. They view every issue, including international ones through the glasses of religion. Indians view the world with rationality and objectivity and not on the lines of religion. This has paid enormous dividends to India over the last 75 years since independence. Pak is still stuck in the views of the 20th century even as Middle Eastern countries have moved out of this mindset. I guess the problem lies at the very foundation of Pakistan which Jinnah laid - A country based on religion and they are not been able to get out of this well since then.
