my bike suddenly says to me "bro, it's sleep time now and then goes to bed", doesn't even allow me to respond to say Good Night. Its name is Speed400 and got an attitude even you are below 50kmph speed on 3to5th gear. It's mood swings once every 100km run. Need to book an appointment with a doc to get a vaccine shot of Covid400. As many fellow patients out there dealing with it's arrogant attitude, I know I can breath until next doc visit.

Replace the front sprocket and disk pads with that from the speed 400. It will increase the cruising speed and improve the braking performance.
does your calculation for mileage match with the instrument cluster estimate? I am having no issues with bike so far.
Bro, when you mention vibrations at a certain speed, please also note the rpm at which the speed is attained. Like in 6th gear, at 90 what is the rpm and at 100 and 120 what is the rpm, so we know the rpm range of these vibrations. I understand that in this bike the rpm is very difficult to read, but I think at night its easier to read.

The same issue I had faced, while the clutch change engine was getting off. 4 days back I was owned by a scrambler 400 x. On the delivery day I had a bad experience I rode a 5 to 6 km after that engine was started then 2 times they changed battery again the same issues were repeated, then they took back to showroom, next day evening they called and said there is some plug issue later they fixed the issue and delivered my bike. Someone takes bike delivery before that property check and then signs the documents.
The issue of stalling is there even on the KTM 390 Adv (Nov 2021 model) which I have faced...press clutch and the bike shuts off..This is not a software issue...it is an issue of lean AFR...KTM was a headache for me..i sold it and bought Highness 350...its been 9 months..no issues till date..

@@simpleminded173 for me KTM had changed the camshaft in warranty so for 6 to 7 months there was no issue but it came back again…the only solution seems to be is putting different ECU map ie using fuel x…I have never used it because I was worried about warranty..ktm blamed me for using normal petrol in 390 engine..when 99 percent 390 owner use normal petrol..not all have access to high octane fuel..I see the same issue with Manish’s bike..so not surprised at all

Engine shut off on low RPM is an issues in my scrambler as well. Cold start is also not very smooth as of now. Rest all really good, people like the bike. Yet to take it out on highway this is mostly city ride experience. Rear Breaks were really poor in the first 50km but as I am riding they are getting better everyday,
Did you go to the service centre? Did the ECU update help eliminate the Engine Stalling issue? I'm planning to buy the Scrambler 400X and am looking for genuine owner reviews.
How much mileage youre getting in city?
I too noticed this engine going off in my short test ride in Bangalore. The bike had gone thru lot of test rides, it was 3pm afternoon heat, the radiator fan kept going on at the signal and just when it turned green, the bike went off. It was so embarrassing, like an L board. It started after 3 attempts. Another thing I noticed was that, in slow traffic, when I released the clutch and gently raised the throttle, more throttle input used to go and make the bike jump, I feel it is some throttle mapping issue. Happens only when throttle is 0 and when opening to about 5mm opening, after that its all normal
I have now watched 3 youtubers facing this issue of engine switching off and engine not starting. One of them said that Triumph fixed it after they corrected the battery charging cable. Also could be related to grounding wire loose connection. Looks like this is common and major problem with Scrambler bikes

Gears are so smooth for thid bike. No frequent gear change required. Veru smooth bike.
My scrambler is 30 days old, next week Iam going on a trip and will not be using the bike for 7 days, should I get my service before or after the trip?
My scrambler 400x(red) has zero issues. I love my bike. I ride at 120 kmhr no issues. Premium quality bike, proud of it.
How much mileage you get and at what rpm you cruise?
@@sudharsan7202 I get 26kmpl in city with mid traffic . On highway it give 30kmpl. I cruise at 6000rpm .

Yes.. have the same issue... I feel that's because of rpm getting lower then required.. not sure. Triumph is yet to get back to me on this.

Bike band hone ka issue Mujhe bhi aaya but only once when I was in good speed around 70 and I was about to change the gear clutch dabate hi bike band.. but mileage in city 29 aara hai filhal.. and fuel indicator me kuch to issue hai mera bhi same ekdum se fule indicator drop hota hai .. even ek bar reserve me bike thi and suddenly remaining km kitna chalega wo show hona band ho gaya ..
Even my platina BS6 2020 model had this same issue when it was new.... They tried all sort of things and at the end they changed oxygen sensor of the bike and works normally now. I think Bajaj has some issue with it.
Manish bhai, as an experiment, can you try using only high octane fuel a few times to check whether the stalling ossue recurs? Curious if it's fuel quality not agreeing with the ignition map in the ECU software.
Also, correct me if i'm wrong, but donthese OBD2 bikes have an OBD port? If they do, i would be very curious on the P code it would throw up when you have the check engine light. You can get that by connecting any cheap OBD device to the port (if available). It might be able to tell you what issue its facing. Might be a misfire of some sort.

After 120 no vibration is there 125 or 130 is sweet spot for me. Of course its single cylinder engine it give vibration don’t expect many more 😊👍🏻
Check your air fuel mix ratio. Might be too lean.
Clutch issue is also happening for me on speed. I have also asked at the service center but they took my bike for a small ride and ignored the problem that issue is not happening.
All of this issue I am getting in my own scrambler 400 x also and this fuel indication issue is in all bikes
I am also getting same issue in scram.
It stops suddenly when clutch is pushed. Weired, happens 2-3 times everyday.

Nice video , I m getting around 35-37 kmpl in city , provided u keep rpm below 4000 it gives best around 70kmphr, and this speed meter shows 40-42 kmpl

I have just received my Scrambler 400 X and noticed that when we ride in the rain, alot of mud and water is throw up on the riders back from the rear wheel.
Do you have any advise on how we can prevent this?

Have you been able to figure out why the engine turns off on engaging the clutch? Triumph has been clueless about it.
Have driven my scrambler almost 800 km and am facing the exact same issues. Plus engine ka awaj badal Gaya hai thoda. (Did you notice the same ?)
The most scary part is when the bike switchs off even when you are in proper gear.

Good mileage.. but this will drop when you will ride with luggage n all i feel.. your video was spot on.. but could have ridden with a pillion in highway ride.. then the actual mileage could be concluded

I have a feeling they are running the bike lean to increase the fuel economy, and the resulting afr causes the stalling and heating issues

I am getting 33+ mileage. Not looking at Meter sometimes it shows 45+. I have counted tank to tank filling and not long rides daily short rides on in single rodes in mountains. 6th gear hardly used.
But yes I never go above 60. 1st Service not done yet thats why.

I can never trust a bajaj bike after the pulsar. There is always some issue or the other with bajaj bikes. Although its a triumph motorcycle, but still the collaboration with bajaj will always alarm me. Sad that such a reputed company has such kind of issues and hope they fix it by learning something from the early adopters.
When your bike switched off at 8:05 you were in 6th gear & at an ultra low speed!!!.. Yeh bhi ek complaint hei ab!!.. This happens with any bike isnt it!.. Kuch bhi cheez ko problem tho yaar tum log..
People who are used to riding splendor do this.. may be he had splendor previously

Using normal petrol is the issue for your stalling.
I have a doubt bro. Apart from the exhaust note, can you hear some other engine sounds? I can hear some other sound also from the engine side.

Yess, I have a scrambler 400x too. Every time I shut the engine off there is a slow "tuk tuk tuk tuk" noise from the engine. I don't know what that is.
I didn't hear this noise during riding maybe because of the sound of the engine

Bhai, meri bike 1st service se pehle kayi baar band hui hai even in the right gear and when engaging clutch. After 1st service, it happened once.

Meri nayi bike ka ek engine bolt bahar nikal gaya hai. Petrol walli aunty handle dusri taraf ghumane ko bolti hai . Meri bike bhi band hui hai aaj pehli baar 871km pe. Stalled, It started, it came to life and went off. It worked after the fourth attempt. But Bike k engine ka BOLT poora ka poora nikal gaya.
