hes such a sweet heart, why do people not like him and slander him? he's not a edge lord or cold, he's just gone through some stuff that's traumatized him. . .
I really like how Diluc's voicelines tell so much about him. He sounds like a businessman that values time and efficiency in few of his first voicelines, not to mention how formal he is when he talks. But when it comes to personal matters, he really seems to care about those around him, and for this case, it's the traveler. He always assure Traveler that he can take care of himself (such as when it's raining) and that they can take a break at times. He really cares about the wellbeing of his team and doesn't press them to not waste time, despite his principle of doing mission swiftly. Diluc is also determined when it comes to justice. He sounds bitter and honest about evil and darkness because of his past. He will always pursue justice and protect Monstadt in his own way, even if he has to do it himself. He knows the consequence and becomes a lone hero. While he really seems like someone who complains a lot (especially about Knight of Favonius), he's very objective and doesn't let his personal opinion freely. It's surprising how he only tells us that we can't fully trust Kaeya (I expect him to badmouth more), while in fact Kaeya's words can't be trusted 100% after what he's done to Traveler. Same goes to other people he mentions in his voiceline, he is really neutral and objective. Other than that, Diluc is really adorable, hiding his secret hobby for painting and the fact that he can't take wine. He's really humble and much more like a normal person the more we know him. He also eventually becomes very fond of us, considering us partner and friend, which honestly imo is a great achievement knowing how high-guarded he is. His voicelines are perfect, and I hope to see more of him in the later story. :)
@@thesleepymew481 XD I can't confirm this but we can assume that he does painting based on his voiceline. He just won't admit it, I guess. Also, based from windblume festival, Diluc also seems to be good at playing music too (From his lyre score quotes).

Here because my friend ADORES him and he's apparently the most powerful Pyro character, but bro...his personality...feels so bare bones And I don't mean any offence, just that I wouldn't pour all my wishes on him just to see him around. He doesn't immediately put a big grin on my face, like say, Venti or Itto does

Cuz, y'know, Genshin is hated on for using BOTW gameplay elements, and Diluc essentially being Batman
I like Diluc, that said he is a bit edgy at times, like with his rain line.
Tbh I am new to the game and so far, at least in the fandom, I haven’t heard any slander towards him. He’s is one of the most beloved characters..
