Thank you! When i seen the new mcfarlane supergirl head sculpt.i instantly seen kim basingers facial features. Close anyways. I did some sculpting on the hair and repainted. I used a neca starlight as the body base. Had to resculpt the legs a bit.
The base body is a neca starlight from " the boys". She has boots on so they had to be cut off and resculpted to make vicks lower shins and heels. The figure had a suit on with texture to it so i sanded the arms smooth. The dress bottom was way to short so i cut it off completely and use an old toy biz doc oc from spiderman 2s trench coat. I cut it down and added it. For her torso i used milliput to sculpt her dress. For the head i used a mcfarlane supergirl. The resemblance to kim basinger was really close. I resculpted the hair a bit and repainted.
I used the main shell of the original interior. I took out the back rest of seat and cut out the bottom portion and made molds of them. I then had to make a new floor,console,and dash useing expanded pvc board,3/16 thick.its super easy to cut,bend to shapes. Easy to glue and soft enough to engrave into but strong enough not to dent easy. I think the hardest part was getting the curv of the dash right. For the dash,buttons i just used little beads.for the gauges i jus took a round brass tube and pressed hard to get the circles then painted in. And i used the stock steeering wheel

I love my mezco,but that cape had to go.i put a custom wired. And the head with movable eyes is a tad wonky. But otherwise a super solid figure. I wonder same...but when i seen how close mcfarlanes supergirl likness was.i knew it had to be vicky
The supergirl head sculpt does look like kim Basinger, vicky vail ..more than it does supergirl ..incredible work.
