I like this body sculpt but still think the AzBats and Speeding Bullet have the best overall body shape. Meat and thickness all in the right places. I don't hate the slighter build, and really happy about the improved height, but I don't think this will be my definitive Batman. I'd like to see one more along the lines of those 2 or like Parallax's build.

I never noticed in the Knightfall comic that he had the long ears or short ears during the comic panels but to me, This Batman is perfect because he looks the part while both being and looking very classic, Awesome review on this classic looking Batman figure from McFarlane Toys Brad.
It's very good. I'd maybe want his skin like, a shade lighter, and the grey of the costume a shade darker, but that'd be such a nitpick, and it isn't like this isn't already pretty dang on point.

Hey Brad, Heard rumors Mcfarlane is going to release Firestorm...but in his original costume. Being him one of my favorite characters I´ll get him for sure. But still, I´d prefer the New 52/onward design since its slick. Also, while I´d like to see characters like Black Canary, Power Girl, Zatanna, a Gold Label of New 52 Raven and a Gold Label of New 52 Wonder Girl...When are we going to finally get a modern/current comics Wonder Woman. I´d think, if anything, DC would demand that. And, one last ting, do you think McFarlane would make use of the mold of Kalibak and make Heracles? Also, speaking of MEGA figures: Any chances of Giganta? And in her classic design or at least a modern cotume that still applies the leopard print? ...First Born would be INCREDIBLE too. However, here´s hoping if it happens he makes as he originally looked and not by the end because he loves horror stuff. Thanks PS And, finally, finally...Any chances for The Creeper? He´s the last third obscure favorite character I love from DC (Lobo, Firestorm and him). And with one made and the other in the way I´d be over the moon to get Creeper. More so, since he falls in McFarlane´s tastes.
Yeah they nailed this headsculpt! Didn't see any sloppy paint. On a side note, Brad is that a custom headsculpt you had on that Joker and if so where did you get that? That was also a killer sculpt.
After a few years of the McFarlane license and so many more Batmans, I think they finally nailed the sculpt! I know Batman has many different interpretations, but almost every prior release has had proportions that don’t match the art with either super short arms or giant long legs. Can’t wait for this one, I’d probably get him again if they re-release with better gray and yellow.

For those hoping for a truly long-eared Knightfall Batman, there are leaked images of the upcoming Mafex Knightfall figure which show he will have long ears. Looks amazing too. That DCSG81 guy is whose channel I found out from.
Probably just gonna wait for that then. Getting some of these McFarlane figures in Australia is a pain and I'm at the point where I'd rather have one awesome Mafex figure than three or four average ones anyway.
