Welp, thanks again Brodie. I discovered the sport in 1993, but didn’t start playing frequently until 2018 and more seriously about 2021 and videos and a couple good lessons since then. I’m 55 now, always able bodied and athletic but not any athlete. Drives stuck around 200’ distance. A really good throw 235’. Good shot shapes. Overthrow said EVERYBODY can throw 250’. I still have fun and constantly trying to improve.
Absolutely butchered my last name😂 Brodie got the name right the first time. Few things he picked me apart on was arm sleeve that I wear off and on for tennis elbow from many years of baseball, chalk bag is because I get very sweaty hands for some reason. Otherwise pretty spot on! Ups and downs of ratings with cold weather disc golf in Michigan. Peaked at 951 this year😂
I'm the first video, weird camera angle and 0.5x camera lens, plus a small square teepad is why I think the start of my video looks funky. Also agreed with what Trevor said, I’ve been tweaking form recently so should get smoother with time
Bruh I totally tricked Brodie with the bad shot 😂😂 900 even? 😂 To be fair, I had JUST finished installing that course and had a high fever the day before, so it was just that kind of day for me on the course that day. Thanks for using my video, and Trevor - you're welcome for the easy points. 😉😂
Talk about years running together….when I see a car that’s in the 2000-2005 range, I’m shocked at how good of a deal it is for a brand new vehicle. And then I remember I’m 42 and it’s a 20+ year old car.
I have been playing for a little more than a year now and i have yet to get an ace. I have hit the basket many times. Made a handful of throw ins from 150 to 200 ft out, but I can't seem to get that ace.
Let’s see Trevor, Hunter and Konner put 7/10 of their discs 380+ with a punishment on the line. Whoever doesn’t make 7/10 has to throw lefty until they put 10 in the bullseye or ace on the classic hole 3. I’d wager that’s at least an hour or two.
Brodies color disc idea expanded: you play uno but with discs. Everyone gets dealt a bag of random discs and you have a practice bag full of discs. You take turns throwing/drawing until someone is out of discs. Maybe possible matches could be color, manufacturer, or flight numbers
See, Brodie says anyone should be able to throw 300, but I have solid form: nose down, lead with the elbow, good bracing, timing is average, flat pull through, no rounding, and I max out at 280, and average throw is 250. After YEARS of studying form, I have yet to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Anyway thanks for the content! Love this podcast
Brodie is the original OG before the dude wanna be perfects squad copied all his old trick shot content lol. Happy new year fellas, much love from Washington state!
Hell yeah, man. I was there. Factories leaving town left and right, NAFTA offshoring our jobs, violent crime at an all-time high, street gangs slinging drugs all over the place, uber violent cops, expansion of the welfare state. Fucking peak culture.
It’s objectively true for our generations. Society had existed for thousands and thousands and thousands of years with no changes. The fastest you’re going somewhere is a horse. The most advanced weapons are swords and bows. Want light? Need fire. The entire time life basically never changed. NOW, in our generations…in the last 100 years, society has changed more and advanced more technologically than in all our previous history combined. Things are changing, objectively, and not for the better.
And Trevor does not know what a halfway house is. Ohhhhh...seeing rich kids talk is always amusing. They step one block off their path and they wind up pulled out the river and being the next cadaver donation
A “match the rating to these players” could be a good game too. Have 3 people on the screen and you have to match the ratings to the players
love all the video ideas
LMAO Hunter shaking his head vigorously at any mention of cadaver parts being used in his body 😂 the thought clearly horrifies him

I've been put the date I bought a disc since I started in 1999. I've got a few disc's back dated 2001. Pretty cool

Also I am like an 895 rated putter, and probably 970 off the tee 😬😬😬
More like 840 rated putter and 950 off the tee
First Philly B now Cheddar. CCR representing lol
Pretty sure Alden Harris throws with the off hand chalk bag, pretty good company
Trevor dropping bluey lines is hilarious
Great job boys.

Great video. You should put a champ road runner in your bag. I got 3 different weights and ones a roller.

I saw you on there. IMMEDIATELY, went. THATS ELLIOT!
How can I submit a photo to be in the episode??

Fellas you gotta post these episodes on Spotify sooner. Love the content but need it on the go
Man I can’t wait for the post Jan1 episode. So many changes yesterday
For sure. Crazy so far.

As a Houston native, there’s team lonestar jerseys and gear in every local shop lol

My wife hit me in the head twice the one time we went to play disc golf...

They've played this on foundation already. Fun video
@ I’ll have to go watch. Sounds fun!
I can name that tune in 400' notes
"It's always.. it's always a podcast"
OG Get Freaky order:
Black 100 made
Orange 500 made
Blue 1000 made
Pink 2000
Green 2000
Glow 2000
I have an orange get freaky zone and a black glo get freaky zone
Every disc in my bag now has the date ( year) it entered ...Electric Idea Trevor
2000 was a quarter century ago kids. Time for some self reflection.
🎉

Sign up for overthrow patron and they can figure it out
@@the-tee-less-traveled-discgolf I actually might do that. Thanks for the advice dude
@@prattacaster or I’m just getting something wrong. Think before you speak and maybe you’ll come out making more sense next time

Brodies spot on. As a mid 80s kid, the farther we get from 2000 the weirder it feels. 90's was peak culture.
While I agree with you, that’s what “old people” have always said
Hell yeah, man. I was there. Factories leaving town left and right, NAFTA offshoring our jobs, violent crime at an all-time high, street gangs slinging drugs all over the place, uber violent cops, expansion of the welfare state. Fucking peak culture.
That’s cause you’re getting old. Literally every generation has said dumb stuff like this eventually.
It’s objectively true for our generations. Society had existed for thousands and thousands and thousands of years with no changes. The fastest you’re going somewhere is a horse. The most advanced weapons are swords and bows. Want light? Need fire. The entire time life basically never changed.

@@ToddsDiscGolf I’m gonna assume you don’t know what objective means. Especially if you’re using the last 100 years as a framework.
Anyone else agree that Brodie doesn't know what a Cadavar is?
