It's one of my favourite hobbies, a hardware store shopping adventure!
It's good to know that supplies will be available for maintenance and building projects...
Fun day away from the business, fun to buy needed stuff...
A place like that will pull you into more projects...
As everywhere, you do need to consider quality, it seems...
One concern I have is ensuring that our construction uses the best we need to have low maintenance...
The subdivision build in Tarlac was done by the crew that does most of the villas...
We had to pay extra for gate, walls, dirty kitchen, and security cams, etc.
That's okay, but not sure of quality... I've heard some stories about others with their build under similar circumstances...
We'll be approaching the larger build differently...
A good architect, a good crew to build, and control/oversight of the build...
Looking forward to this challenge! I envision the end state already...
Can't wait to get started! Lots to do between now and breaking ground...
    I gotta get busy! 💪💪💪
TC and hump day is here!
    👍😎👍

Hi James the Einhell power tools are sold in Australia and New Zealand as Ozito made in China by Einhell German design. As quality handyman type tools .From my experience they almost as good as trade brands. Leave Ryobi are lower quality.I definitely recommend Einhell tools.

I have a few comments regarding the plastic water storage tanks and also about the pressure pumps.
First about the water tanks, i was about to buy a 2000L Bestank at Wilcon here close to Candelaria Quezon, the store manager asked me if it was to be used for storing drinking water.
Yes , i replied, well then i recommend the Weida tank instead, because it has a coating inside to make the water safe for drinking, the Weida tank was also less expensive.
The Bestanks of the same size at the store did not have this inner coating, other than that i think they are made of the same kind of plastic.
About the water pumps, i went all in for the Grundfos Scala2 pump, the black one showing at 22:01
This is a constant pressure pump, with a small internal expansion tank with air bladder.
Pressure can be adjusted in 0,5 bar increments from 1,5 bar to 5,5 bar, depending on the inlet pressure.
It is crucial that you have no leaks on your waterlines to make this pump work properly, if there is a small leak the pump will start and stop or even run all the time.
The air pressure in the internal expansion tank also need to be adjusted according to the pressure you want the pump to deliver. (70% of the pressure you want on your tap water)
This pump can suck up water from a underground cistern down to 8 meters, depending on pipe length and size.
Pump will increase or lower the speed to maintain a steady waterflow when opening or closing multiple faucets.
I bougth this pump because i've had good experiences with other Grundfos pumps for more than 35 years of working as an marine engineer, we have been using Grundfos pumps for both heating and cooling systems.
For the last almost 2 years we have been using the Scala2 pump for feeding water to a high pressure washing system onboard, without any issues.
It is a very expensive pump compared to some other pumps, Grundfos is a Danish brand, and one of, if not the worlds largest pump manufacturers.

Do they run junction boxes for electrical runs here or does every line run back to the panel? And do they daisy chain outlets and lights?

Einhell is a german manufacturer made in Austrailia and south africa and Germany. Nice product.

German company, but their tools are made in China. Same manufacturer that makes dozens of other brands. Wal-Marts exclusive brand of Hyper Tough is also made by them. The only difference between them all is the name, color and level of accessories and quality that the retailer chooses. One might sell cheaper tools and choose a lower grade of plastic to inject into the identical same molds. Or a less powerful motor. Or less goodies like a battery without a led power level indicator. Name and location of a company means nothing anymore. You can buy a Hyper Tough cordless drill for a 3rd of the cost and swap out the motor from ordering an Einhall replacement motor online and have the identical same drill. Even their color pattern is the same of red and black. Only the name sticker is different. Probably why Hyper Tough changed from red with black like Einhall to black with red.

HEY JAMES IM GETTING A BLUE 1000 LITERS WATER TANK FOR MY WIFES FAMILY IF U PUT IT UP HIGH GRAVITY WILL INCREASE THE PRESURE DO U NEED A PUMP TO PUSH THE WATER UP TO THE TANK THANKS

    • @airwess3369
      @airwess3369 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

You can use one pump if its powerful enough to suck the water out of the ground and into the gravity tank and to pressure the pressure assist tank and send water to everything. But in those systems you use the tank as a back up. Turn valves to switch back and forth to whether you want a pressurized system or gravity or fill the tank. Plus your overworking your pump and get ready to keep replacing burnt out pumps. Or pay to rewind the pump that'll take months to wait on. Best is to have one pump to use the water from the gravity tank and a pressure assist tank with your pump. Just using gravity is okay in a pinch, but unless the tank is big enough and high enough, it won't even have enough pressure to use a shower head. And if your casing and pipe are large enough, at least 4" then use a drop in pipe sump pump to fill the tank because that 50 watt pump running all the time to refill the gravity tank will save you a ton of money on your electric bill vs using a 1500 watt pump to suck the water out. And it'll last alot longer and costs a lot less. A good inline pump for under $100 vs over $300 for the smallest capable pump that might last 3 yrs like the green one in the video. The cheapest blue ones at Handy Man go for about $130, but lucky if they last a year. Most important is to find a capable honest plumber who actually knows what he's doing. Something as simple as a float valve to automatically fill the tank when it's close to empty and stop when close to fill, is a near impossible challenge to communicate to a local province plumber. You can talk until your blue in the face and make no progress. Pictures. Lots and lots of pictures off shopee so they understand. 90% of the time they call it something different.

This is not how I will be using it. I dont need it to pump water out of the ground. This size tank will not be up in the air. It will be on a ground foundation. Coming off the bottom outlet will be an above ground pressure pump and tank to simply pressurize the water and send it up to the guest rooms. I will have a float valve installed most likely to keep the tank topped off when it get below a certain level. This will relieve my current pressure tank from being under as much load. My current well pump is great. It is an all stainless steel deep well pump like made for going in a 4" casing. I made a casing pipe and put in out well which has a large casing. this keeps it from moving around. It delivers plenty of water but the carbon fiber pressure tank is too small. I will most likely move our current pressure thank to the above ground tank I am looking to buy and then buy a BIG tank for main house and guest rooms.

Pressure pumps - Meyers used to be the gold standard. Haven't seen one in the stores for a while, but haven't really been looking. They used to be P10000 while cheaper (made in Italy) were about P6000. I have several Einhell tools, German design Chinese made. They are about Ryobi standard, in other words OK. Grundfoss make good pumps.

Lol. I've heard of the expression Tar baby before, but until now I've never asked. Just always thought it was a racial slur. So the few times I've heard someone say it, I was like seriously? Now I know why no one was ever offended. 😂. And it would've made more sense when applied to the conversation. Before, it was like, does this person have tourettes?
