Awesome song! All are amazing but all are also well known. Love the back and forth between the violin and Yuki on guitar.

This new band are brilliant. I love the way that the bassist moves around. I hope they keep going.

Thank you for checking this out. They are a supergroup, most of them with day jobs, so it's not clear whether they plan to do a lot more stuff together. We can hope! I think they're amazing. They were put together by Ayasa, the violinist. You probably recognized Yuki from D-Drive and Mizuki from Lonesome Blue. Akane and Wakazaemon are also legit stars. Another proof that the talent cup runneth over in Japan!

    East of Eden Members :
    Guitar: Yuki from D Drive.
Bass: Wakazaemon, who's been Marty Friedman's bassist and will be playing support live with Koiai (Lisa X & Hazuki band).
    Drums: Mizuki, from Lonesome Blue.
Vocals: Minato Akane, from J Pop group Predia, also was singer in Mochi to Cheese (w Akane and Kanami of Band Maid)
Violinist and Creator: Ayasa, known for the song "Kokuhaku No Yoru" and many other projects. Also,
Mao, keyboardist (from Lightbringer with Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus) and composer who does alot work with Lovebites, is involved with this (some other lovebites personel too). See if this stays a permanent band... Also Looking forward to hearing them live and more songs from them. BTW.. Catch Nemophila's upcoming free live on TH-cam Mon the 1st (6am EST)

I notice so many 70s influences in this song... Triunvirat, Uriah Heep, ELP ... Amazing!

they all are so amazing and talentred, a real supergroup. for me evolve is already song of 2023. drummer mizuki is so hitting hard and those kickdrum stabs are insane. but I´m biased, so my focus was on phenomenal bassplayer wakazaemon. I know her from daisukes crew with tamu and from marty friedmans band. and she is a lefty. hope there will be more of EOE.

Contender for Song of the Year. The interconnectivity of the Japanese rock & metal bands is amazing, especially the all female groups. Everyone seems to know each other. Just this week 3 of the girls from Nemophila went to Lovebites tour ending concert at Yokohama & posed with the band for a photo. What a double bill that would be!

I saw some of the pictures on Instagram. I follow both bands. That would be one of the best concerts ever.

This is a brand new band, and this is the only song they've released so far. I can't wait to hear more from them. Every single member is fantastic, but I couldn't take my eyes from the bassist. That little girl was like the energizer bunny. She effectively ran a marathon in six minutes. I agree that the bass was a little low in the mix. She played in Marty Friedman's band on his last world tour, so she has some serious chops. This is another one of those Japanese supergroups and some of the members play in other bands, so I really hope that this wasn't a one time thing and they all continue to work together. The violinist, Ayase, is a very well known violinist in Japan, and from what I understand, she's the one who put this whole thing together. Love this band, and I hope they continue to put out new music. Take care!
