Wrap every exhaust joint with metal-foil tape. Not duct tape, which is a total fail on ducting, but metal-foil tape. Even the silicon sealant can leak, but the foil tape will seal every opening and ensure no leaks. Roman is an awesome addition to the Cornstar team.
Great seeing Papa Cornstar and Cooper. Love the rapport between Cole and Roman. Roman walking back and forth behind Cole while Cole was talking, so funny! 😂
I think Roman’s main job is to keep Cole between the ditches as we say down here in the South. I love their banter with each other and Roman walking back and forth while Cole is talking is hilarious. They show you can work hard and have fun doing it. Entertaining episode.
Cole, I am a proud team member of Menards, I'm a kitchen designer. I work at the Indy South store which is on the south side of indianapolis. I'm just thrilled that you're in the store and I can see exactly where you're at, and put back all those mushrooms kits... LOL
Love your inactions and help with Grandma, she is so funny. Now did i miss one introducing Roman, he is so cute and great helper for Cole. Lets get some info on Roman. Wow the shed is DONE, IT MAKES ONE CRY to see the finished farm. Your Grandda would be so proud.
Cole, they aren't really left and right hand snips. They are designed to cut left and right into material. They material is pushed up on their respective sides. An example would be cutting a U channel. Always cut so that the waste side of the snip is out. This will keep the snips from bending the finished material and moves the waste up and out of the way. Hopefully that makes sense.
Thank you, Cole...I appreciate you bringing us along NO MATTER how busy and full your day is. Your content is always interesting and informative. You will be a Dad again soon...congratulations.
Looking good and heat will be great. May wanna keep that double box at light switch and just throw in another plug if it can handle it. Always good to have an extra plug. When I ran my wood stove and pellet stove vents, I used automotive high heat silicone (red stuff). May not be right, but it’s worked great for 10 years. I had same issue between the single wall and double wall pipe transition…the silicone fixed it up. May look into some plug in stall fans to circulate air to help move hot air at ceiling downward.
@Cole - That vent is twist-lock, or snap lock; shove it in until it's bottomed and turn it, it locks. Then screw it. Or, if snap-lock, shove it in until you feel it snap into place, then screw it. With both styles it needs to be aligned correctly before pushing the pieces together.
Cole my husband and myself love watching ur videos!!! Roman adds a lot of humor to ur videos. Loved the way he was pacing back and forth behind u. U 2 work well together. Thanks for the entertainment 😊
It feels great to be 95% finished finally with the electrical and heating in the 16 year old shop. Good work guys. Roman is a big help and fun to work with especially since he keeps a smile on his face like you do Cole! 😎
That opener is using a twisted pair cable. It is the same type of wiring "cabling" that was used for old time telephone systems in your house. Made connections easy as each color had a twin color with white alternating. So when someone talks abouta 25 pair cable, now you know.
A new game to play, I spy Roman walking behind Cole with that look like sure we know what we are doing. LOL We need to see DC and Roman working together. They would be so fun to watch. Congratulations to you a Nave. Be careful I'm already praying for number 3, just kidding. XOXOXO
Cole, get ya a Carbon Monoxide detector and slowly walk it down those connections when running to double check. Soap is good but not perfect. Looks great though.
Great job clearing up the farms. Always good to see Cooper! Roman's good-natured sense of humor adds a bit of fun. Glad to see ya'll helping your Grandmother Judy too.
No rest for the weary, or wicked? I think it must be weary. I thought all of my completed tasks, with a few more things left to do was long. I remember the shed being six feet high with "stuff". You've organized everything so everyone can find everything. You should label everything, and draw a picture around the things you've hung on the wall. But, wow, that building is amazing, they all are. I can remember some of your first posts, and opening a door and that's as far as you could go. I think watching someone else with OCD is what caught my eye. You and your brother and father have done so much, it's unrecognizable. You can feel proud of yourself with all of your accomplishments.😊❤
I love the satisfaction of seeing these small projects get finished. If you have the contacts, it would be cool to see a TH-cam carpenter work with you to build some work benches in this shed.
Roman is great!! Nice to see you have a right hand man. Hope to continue to see him!!😍your sounding better Cole, keep taking your vitamin C. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS❤❤
You have to keep the cobwebs out of the sensor eyes on the the garage door opener! Snow, cobwebs, dust, all cause the sensor to not read the sensor across the other side. Every once in a while, hit the lenses with a lens cleaner wiper thingy. I saw it a thousand times in my factory. Merry Christmas to all you Cornstars!
Atta boy cole! Keep chipping away at these projects and your going to have a beautiful farm to be oh so proud of. It is crazy how far yall have come already. Extremely impressive
Cole. You have to be careful with the spray foam. Some of them are flammable and will burn. I found out the hard way with my woodstove and my newly constructed home. Yes, it caught fire and burnt part of the house. Check with the insulation company.
1. We LOVE grandma Judy! 2. Omgg...BUC-EES!!!! It's totally a Texas thing!! Way to go Nave for hooking your hubby into the addiction that is...Buc-ees❤ You GOTTA sport their merch! 😂 everyone will be asking what's up with the beaver thing anyways? If you know... you know! I just love it Cole 😂
You should also consider installing outdoor plugs on each side of the outside of your building just in case you need them so you don't have to run cords out of doors. Especially if you happen to park something outside and a battery goes dead or if you forget to put a semi away in the winter and need to plug in a heater to get it started. It might be good if you ever need to run electric tools outside as well. You should have some 220volt plugs down both sides of the building.
The lift does not need to be running to LOWER the deck. Leave the battery power on and the joy stick will function to release hydraulics and let you gently down.
Awesome work..not to sound critical..but that thimble didn't look long enough, it should fill the entire void of the wall, from the interior to the exterior to avoid "Possible" fire /heat & gases from filling the wall cavity & burning your building down....& just an FYI on your question about the wires your Grandpa used on the garage door opener... that cable was Usually used in Commercial telephone installations, the double, sometimes Triple used colors have different length bars of color, to decipher what connection in the phone that they went in
Anyone that thinks this family farm makes much money has only to notice the mom works, and they do part time work at the cemetery. Farms accumulate lots of things, but money aint one of them. The fact they don’t hide their faith speaks well of them. Count me in fan.
LOL @ Roman walking back and forth in the background when Cole was explaining about how the vent ducting works! He seems like a fun guy to work with.

Don’t worry! In that big garage and checking with soap /water. He will find every single leak.
Roman's walking back and forth is cracking me up!!
Roman is a treasure!
Funny, capable & knowledgeable…a good guy to have around!
The world needs more people like Roman - he is a treasure.
Really like seeing coop on the vids lately. Always know he's hard at work in the background, just nice to see him represented.

Roman is a great fit. You all do get a lot done. Hi to Momma Corn Star.
Funny watching Roman lerking behind you during your explaination of of the venting. LOL
Wrap all the connections with metal tape. Helps seal the connevtions
They make a tape for this application I believe it is called duct tape.😮

Imagine reading the instructions the first time and saving lots of time and effort
Most of us don’t 😂
Hey Matt I'm sure you're that one guy who brings a list with you to the hardware store 🤔🤣🤣👍
Does reading instructions make me normal or abnormal???

Really good video!! Roman is a riot, never know what he will think of next, and I bet you appreciate him !
I have to say i have never heard of spraying a vent pipe with soap solution to check for leaks. Gas lines yes to check for leaks.
Cole I’ve been watching your channel for a few years and the progress from the very first video I watched is nothing short of amazing well done!!
Hard work and determination pays off! Cole, Roman roaming in the back ground while you were explaining...😂😂😂
At 6:23 reminded me of the alarm on the show Emergency. Anyone hear that.
