Manila to San Juan, La Union - Hyperlapse Driving Tour | Surfing Capital of North Luzon [4k]

- San Juan is both laid back and a bustling town north of La Union. Known for its pottery industry as well as being the surfing capital of the north, this town never falls short of activity.
Coming from Quezon City, we took North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), then the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), then Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). It took us 4.5 hours to get to San Juan. Total amount we paid for toll was Php 734.

tweet: La Union needs re-organization and re-building. The governor and other leaders in the area should initiate programs to help with building new housing communities and to remove all barong-barong (slums) houses off the road-side. This is obviously a call for leadership in the area -- La Union as a longsod has the appearance of neglect and lack of ground maintenance. Leaders must do an all out overhaul to change the poverty stricken itsora ng area and only leaders could do it. Whoever is the governor of La Union must lobby to housing development dept. or build-build-build personnel to change their communities. Is Lauren Legarda the leader of La Union? God speed. june2022.
