I think Gilbert's letter is one of the most romantic letters that have been written, besides, his voice while reading it is full of love, passion and truth, it is impossible not to feel deeply emotional with these two.
I am so sad that this show is ending. I love the cast and wanted to see them grow and now that Anne and Gilbert finally confessed their affection for each other I would have loved to see their live grow stronger. And I would have loved to see the other characters also, to see where their paths lead. What a crying shame!

Literally I was screaming and crying the whole last episode (the whole last season, actually), but when Gilbert write the letter I almost die, my heart was fluttering so hard. I feel that every moment of anticipation between this two, every year, every season, was going to somewhere finally. But it's so sad to see AWAE finish... it was a wonderful season with an awesome end, but still want to see so much experiences of Anne, Gilbert and the rest characters... there is so much there that we might never see, but we don't have to give up, maybe one god hears our wish and make it real. It’s so hard to keep watching these knowing that the show ended and we will never see the true ending. But I try to imagine that it ended in an amazing way... For example, the native Americans are able to get their daughter and all of the native children out of the “boarding school” and move somewhere deep in the mountains and forest, where they can live out their lives in peace. Bash and Ms. Stacy fall in love and run the apple plantation in peace with Bash’s mother, daughter, and stepson, and their business takes off. Anne and Gilbert are able to keep in touch and constantly write to each other, and when they meet again they are filled with great happiness and love. They run around in the forest, and spend many days out in the woods and beaches near the island having their own adventures. I feel like they would live in a beautiful tree house in the woods, with a beautiful view, like Anne always loved. Anne becomes a teacher and Gilbert becomes the doctor he always wanted to be, helping the people of Avonlea. And the show ends while they both ride off into the sunset alongside each other, laughing and smiling vibrantly. In the end, Anne was able to find her own life full of freedom and happiness, and truly becomes the “bride to adventure.” This is the only ending that helps me cope 😭

When I was little I watched the cartoon every morning and I always related to Anne because of my red hair, school problems and personality, so I grew up with her and her beautiful story. I discovered this show some months ago and immediately started watching it. It's accurate, well acted, moving and relatable. It never failed to make me emotional and feel understood, I absolutely recommend it to anyone. Really beautiful and cute video, probably one of the sweetest couples I've ever known🥺❤️
recently, i just finished awae. right when season 1 released on netflix i rushed to my living room to learn from anne and her bravery. she stood with me through thick and thin and taught me how to learn and grow. after finishing season 2 a while back, i totally forgot about the show. now that i’m stuck in qurantine, i thought why not finish it? while watching season 3, i realized how powerful gilbert and anne’s love for each other was. gilbert always listened to anne’s ideas when no one else would. when gilbert felt pity about himself, anne was always there to comfort him. their chemistry in the season is something i have never seen before in a show. something that i wish they could’ve shared with each other was the letters. i feel like anne would’ve loved to read the letter, same as for gilbert. it breaks my heart that we were never able to see them read it and see the words, i love you. i wish there was some sort of a speech confessing their love to each other. it breaks my heart into a million pieces that we will never get the chance to see that. it is a big mistake the producers are making to cancel this show right when their relationship just begun. but, i am so happy i was given the opportunity to even watch this show! i am grateful i was able to learn from this show. thank you.

Oh, how I love this show, the characters and their journeys, this couple! (And also, this video edit is _stunningly incredible_!) To know for so long, as "a bystander" (watching the show). but for them to slowly figure out their feelings, their love! It was such a sweet journey that I might have followed it all. And such anxiety to see it all at risk in the last few episodes! Only to be met with even greater joy when all turned well! The tears streamed over my face with everything coming to such a beautiful end - of the show-, where it is only the beginning of such adventure, opportunities and love for almost all characters and storylines. All, but Ka'kwet, her parents and many of the natives. Oh such heart-wrenching horrific tragedy they befell! It completely gutted me and I wished oh so hard that it had been different. But I am also grateful that the show stayed true to history. So that horror may never be forgotten. So that mankind can learn from history and do better. Oh, but all the other storylines ended so beautifully, so hopeful and joyful! And Anne and Gilberts story... I love it so! There you have it, a bit of my love letter to Anne with an E, requested or needed by no one, but hopefully a joy to read. It was fun to write at least, after watching S3. I had read this story before and now that I had seen that it has a series, I immediately looked for it. I had finished it in just one day. It such a beautiful story filled with flawed yet beautiful characters.
I was just minding my own businesses on TikTok and then I saw an edit of Anne and Gilbert and I decided to try the show I literally finished it in like 2 days or less and I absolutely loved it. I was so pissed and straight up MAD that they cancelled the show... I hope one day the show will come back🥺😓
As much as I would've loved for Gilbert to see her all dolled up in a corset and beautiful dress with her hair up, I also like the fact that he liked her just as she was right from the beginning, he liked her with her red hair and freckles and all them things she didn't like about herself. It reminds me of another ship where the female lead didn't like her red hair because she was constantly bullied over it in school but thanks to her red hair she ended up being able to get rescued by a really sweet guy when she got kidnapped and that guy found her thanks to her hair, he said it was beautiful and that's why he was able to notice the strands of hair she left behind as they were taking her. She fell in love with her rescuer and she grew to love her hair as well. ❤️😍 #RedThreadOfDestiny

I was just minding my own businesses on TikTok and then I saw an edit of Anne and Gilbert and I decided to try the show I literally finished it in like 2 days or less and I absolutely loved it. I was so pissed and straight up MAD that they cancelled the show... I hope one day the show will come back🥺😓

As much as I would've loved for Gilbert to see her all dolled up in a corset and beautiful dress with her hair up, I also like the fact that he liked her just as she was right from the beginning, he liked her with her red hair and freckles and all them things she didn't like about herself. It reminds me of another ship where the female lead didn't like her red hair because she was constantly bullied over it in school but thanks to her red hair she ended up being able to get rescued by a really sweet guy when she got kidnapped and that guy found her thanks to her hair, he said it was beautiful and that's why he was able to notice the strands of hair she left behind as they were taking her. She fell in love with her rescuer and she grew to love her hair as well. ❤️😍 #RedThreadOfDestiny
