Still a work in progress on the slide! Trying to learn by ear so it's going to likely be a long process! Is your Peavey the trans tube model? They are pretty great little amps.
Slide guitar is not easy. You have a solid foundation, though. Keep rockin', my man. I got the same Firebird, btw. They're a different breed. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the support! I'll keep on, keepin on! It's only been about a month of 20 minutes per morning practice. I'll get there! Any tips btw? Slide wise.. and as for the Firebird have you A/B'd with a Gibson Firebird? I have nothing to compare to haha
Oh, I think you should be the one giving tips, I'm still practicing my slide as well. Your technique is good, a lot of people don't understand the string muting you have to do with the fret hand while working the slide, but you have that down. I have no comparison for the Epi Bird against a Gibson, but I do know that the Epiphones are now better than ever. @@bluesguy
