I’m so here for all this motivation. I graduated LPN school in December and taking NCLEX in February. As soon as I get out of orientation I’m grinding it up.

I am in nursing starting January 8th for an accelerated BSN program. I want to make six figures coming out… what is your advice ? I do have experience in nursing as well.
13:00 I have long said that is a dumb saying. That you shouldn't do it for the money. You have to do it because of the love. No other field is this said except nursing. Not even doctors or CNA which work alongside us thinks this. I pointed this out a while back I can be doing it purely for the money and still do a excellent job because I'm compensated well. I can love the job and still want to be compensated well and fairly. Does that make me a bad nurse? No. It just means I want to make a wage that provides a good lifestyle. Love of the job is great but, it's not as if we would do this for free.

The majority of nurses I know are broke including the BSN nurses. It’s crazy.
Why would that be? Spending money on useless crap?
@@fastfowardbutton1965 They make good money but live beyond their means, plus many work the bare minimum, 3day-12hour shifts.
They probably live expensive lifestyles, fancy cars, fancy clothes, fancy eating out ect … ain’t no way they’re broke because of nursing.
Not me zero debt. I bring in $6,500 biweekly net take home I work 5 days a week. Totally worth it. Low col in my area I live comfortably
@@kanegrey7697 That’s how it should be for any nurse or person with a healthy income. But most nurses I know work the bare minimum.
Goals are high for 2024. I'm with you on that 💯 time to really mash on these goals and make no excuses
