YES!! A Love Letter to Whiskey is one of the most intense soulmate connection books I’ve ever read… it really does keep you waiting and spazzing out in the BEST way haha!!
I'm glad you mentioned "Again the Magic" - that novel has stayed with because it really made me cry - so angsty. I just tried to read an oldie but the couple fell in love immediately and there was no angst - soo boring that I couldn't finish it! Now I'm reading this author's follow-upbook, "Shanna," and it's such an angsty adventure and a take on "The Taming of the Shrew" set in England and in the Caribbean that I'm enjoying it very much - an the hero is sexy, smart, talented, and obsessed with the heroine.
Oh, I feel your passion in this video when it comes to the angst haha... I am currently reading the love triangle books by Kandi Steiner 'What he doesn't know' ... and the angst is ah-mazing 🤩
The Masquerade by Brenda Joyce was my first angsty historical romance, and it destroyed me emotionally. I was not ready lol. She touches on some questionable/taboo topics throughout her De Warenne series. I’d love to see a few of my favorite Booktubers read and discuss her books.
Yesss all the angst for me too, so good! 😍 Agree, my fav Kandi Steiner’s too. I reread ALLTW when the anniversary edition dropped and it held up! 🙌🏼 Plus Jamie’s POV is soo good. Ahh yay, Give Me More is amazing.
Everyone who loves angst should really check out Nia Forrester (she’s so underrated). Her books are so emotionally intellectual, validly angsty & a whole bunch of all things that make a good book better. Also, I’m confused why nobody mentions People we meet on vacation by Emily Henry when it comes angst.
I love your refs, but please don’t talk so fast. I couldn’t even catch the title or author’s name on the first book. Also, your hand covers the author’s name in a lot of your videos, so even when listening and watching, I miss out on possible new books.
If you have a problem with how fast I talk, you can slow down the speed of the video! That’s how I talk and I won’t change it 🤷🏻♀️ I also list every book I talk about in my description, so you can look there if you miss the title.
