sir I really like your videos and have learned a lot. But in this video both computers and communicating in different vlans. This is due to same network as you said, but the main credit of communication should go the access ports at both end (locally significant), isnt it? please correct me if I am wrong.
Sir as per your information communication will be possible between different vlan via L2 device but the configuration which you did on both switches was actually possible? On L2 switch. It seems to me it's not possible why because you used L3 switches not a L2 switch OR is it possible to do any configuration on L2 switch I thing no we can't configure L2 switch some port in one vlan & rest port in another Vlan. Pls correct me.if any thing wrong from my side.
It will communicate. VLAN info is only tagged to the packed if you are using only TRUNK port. But as he is using all access ports that means on switch 1 same ip will be of vlan 10 member but as soon as pakcet go out it is untagged and is not of any vlan. and as soon as it reaches switch 2. then switch 2 label it as vlan 20 member and it re routes to the same IP member. Even I was very confused and finding what has happened here from last 1 hour
Communication between two VLANs can only occur through a router that is connected to both. VLANs work as though they are created using independent switches. Your concept is bit missing something.
Much appreciated Sir..
Thanks
