from the publicly-available documents, does it not seem like the lawsuit is really about getting money, and lots of it? 🤔 what is becoming evident, though, is that the kpop training system will not be applicable in the united states. american values and work ethic are culturally different from that of koreans'. jyp and the other korean entertainment companies might as well just close shop in the u.s. 🤪 relatedly, the detailed vcha lawsuit against jyp america only spotlights that the accusations of newjeans against hybe is a joke.
It’s not just about cultural differences. Why should a foreign company be able to open a branch in America and not have to follow American labor laws? It’s nonsensical. If they think they can do that, then yes, they should close up shop because clearly they are not intelligent enough to know how to run a business.
Yeah, man, very different "work ethics" in the usa, its not as easy like it is in korea to treat someone close to a slave in the usa, altough you go to the agricultural fields in many states in the us and you will find illegals treated just like that. The hypochrisy.
Hanni did a great service for kpop fans by going to the National Assembly. She lost her case because "Idols" are NOT considered "workers" under Korean law therefore are not protected by labor laws on Korea That is why they are exploited and abused. How much did the Kpop companies pay lawmakers to get that passed? BUT, America loves their children and workers so many laws prevent child labor exploitation. It is NOT about cultural differences in workers ethics. KG is an American female raised to believe in her-SELF and value as a woman. She is assertive and refused to be abused. Korean females are not raised that way but to submit to authority even abusive authority. An idol recently reported severe SA abuse by her CEO: she was dismissed from the group. In America he would be behind bars but there are cultural differences that allow South Korean men to escape respousability for abusing women. Chuu (LOONA) revealed the same thing KG reported which is the harder Chuu worked the more in debt she became to the company The lawsuit is NOT about 'cultural differences" but the abusive system the companies imposed on underage idols who have no protection under the law as they are NOT 'workers " Thank you Hanni. Leaked HYBE internal documents reveal HYBE to be evil that will trash other Non-HYBE idols with lies, misinformation and hate through paid reporters at DISPATCH, influencers and paid trolls. Within 24 hours half the female groups under HYBE disbanded. Hanni was just the tip of the iceberg. NewJeans and MHJ had no power and had no chance against the largest Kpop company in the world and billionaire $$$ Bang Si-Hyuk and his publicity machine especially in misogynistic South Korea. As females they were already condemned for speaking out. NewJeans never die and #freeMHJ.
LOL. Nj are nothing but entitled gals. They only have childish allegations. They will be put in their place soon Can anyone take you seriously, though? Supporting mh/... someone who provided cover for a SA abuser! Of course, it makes sense now that we know mh/ is even willing to body lobby to get what she wants...
Funny, "america" doesnt show much love for their workers in their agricultural fields. I suppose to be considered human beings raised to believe in their selves and have value as a person, you have to have your migratory papers in order.
Bunnies seriously stop comparing vcha case to nj🤦♀️ -Self out vs not bringing greeted by illit manger -being recorded 24/7 vs illit copy nj -tearing shoulder/ physical injury vs wanting mhj back as ceo - starvation vs ingore -$500 paycheck vs 1+ million paycheck The list can keep going. Stop comparing real victims like vcha to nj. If nj actually had a case, they would do exactly what vcha is doing. Sue hybe but they can't because they lack proof. This is embarrassing and sad. #suemhj
KG is so brave. hope she wins her lawsuit
Me too

xenophobia is a very" real" experience for foreigners working at the Kpop industry, so sad.😔
Good for her. For someone so young to have the courage to speak out! 😬
Yes I'm proud of her
I hope other kpop group speaks out to and dont be afraid to

Great post 100%
New jeans are not kids. They are adults. So this law wouldn’t protect her if she was in America.
