In this video, Dr Brajpal explained about the diet of a baby of six to twelve month old. Upto six months, baby is on breastmilk or formula milk and now it is the time when solid food should be started. Parents are confused at this time about how to start the feed to six month baby ? Dr Brajpal, described all the way to start the feed to baby in a proper way. He told that it is essential to familiarize the food with baby. Baby should see the food first, touch it , feel it, smell it and then it should be served to the baby. Even parents can eat themselves in front of the baby. It will improve the oral intake of the baby. Dr Brajpal told that a six to twelve month baby gets its major calories from breastmilk or formulamilk. When we serve the solid food, we must ensure that the food should be full of nutrients, means Nutrient Rich Food. Dr Brajpal described the importance of Iron to a baby between six to twelve months old in this video.
My few advises to all parents:-
NO FORCEFUL FEEDING TO BABY
ALWAYS OFFER NUTRITIOUS FOOD TO BABY
NO ADDED SUGAR AND SALT UPTO FIRST BIRTHDAY
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ARE GOOD FOR BABY
DON’T MAKE DINNING TABLE A FIELD OF BATTLE 😊
