Love mamacoo the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the watch. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off watches in as much detail as you.
I had casually seen the samurai had been refreshed but didn't notice the price. 600 for hardlex and NH35!? What are Seiko smoking. I doubt anyone will actually ever pay that at retail but still crazy.
The nh35 is an amazing movement. I regulated mine to +0.5s/d. I don’t understand the hate.
I'm genuinely impressed with how close amzwatch were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.

The Tag Heuer new AquaRacers are most attractive. Great improvement but no big raise of price.
Great information and commentary. Seiko definitely pushing up the prices. Sam at @casualwatchreviews just commented on Seiko pricing too. Maybe Seiko will hear all these voices and at least give better value (better movements, sapphire crystals, etc) for higher prices.
As for the two-tone Omegas - solid NO… too expensive and just not attractive IMO.
Is not a new “Samurai”, in the Seiko boutique, their website, you can still find the Prospex Samurai. This is a total new watch called Prospex ‘Shog-urai’, Seiko said that is a fusion with a Samurai and a Shogun models. But again, both models are still available in their catalog.

42 mm for the Samurai is great, but I wish the hands and indices were the same as the previous version.
I like the new MM200, It's my dream watch. I just wish I could afford one.
The updated Seiko Marinemaster at 7:20 looks appealing. Seiko seems to have borrowed from the Omega Aquaterra with its horizontal lines etched into the dial.
The new TH Aquaracers are amazing. Highly recommended.
I think seiko are using the 6L movements in the kings, and others because of the thinness of the movement. It is actually a high quality movement,, originally coming from Credor watches. I have one in my sje073. An unusual Seiko presage.
The accuracy is about plus 2 sec a day. Quite good.
All said, I m going to send my GS black birch back for adjustment. Runs at plus 13 sec. Seems to be a common problem with this expensive caliper.🤬
@@KoishishibamanI have a black birch as well and after sending back to GS for adjustment, it’s currently running around the same as you if facing dial up. I will never buy a GS until they fixed it
@@TemplarLove Thanks for the reply. That doesn't make me very confident. My only other hb was a 8l55 in a sla039. When back to Japan because brand new it was running at plus 14 a day. Really ? Came back at plus 7. It is currently for sale at a jeweler in San Diego.
I have old Seiko 4r35 divers that run at plus 3. I have a Omega railmaster stuck at plus 3 total for weeks as long as I wear it. Just bought a 2011 ? Omega seamaster pro TI with the 8500 movement. After 2 weeks, about 1-2 sec slow total.

Runs at plus2-3 a day. Come on GS! Fix your movements!

With the MM does it look like Seiko want to save on production costs with using the same arms, lume, day wheel and texture as on their 62mas models

€3,200 for a Seiko with a +15 to -10 secs pd 6L35 under the hood!?! Seiko adding ‘King Seiko’ below the pinion doesn’t make it a cash register. And the Marinemaster is €200 more!!! Seiko is just trolling its fanbois now 😂😂

As far as Tag Heuer goes the only series I like is the Carrera chronograph line.
Tudor money for a Seiko😂 Tag have been killing it recently tho, the Carrera and even the Kith has been widly publicised
As a owner of the 6l37 and I can tell you it’s a great movement it’s basically a slim 8L
6L and 8L are totally different mechanically. 6L is the only relatively thin automatic movement so Seiko uses it extensively among high-end models recently.

new samurai's look great but should come with sapphire crystals. i bet they're saving it for the new king samurai's and prices would be an additional $200.
The two-toned Speedies are definitely attractive. Not my focus, but I think they’re nice. Price-wise, it’s complicated. There’s definitely a few thousand in gold there, but you also have to factor in all the additional expenses of working with gold. Scrap, and even dust isn’t discarded. Recovery is time consuming and costly. Insurance and loss prevention security costs are a factor. Inflation and soaring gold prices are on the table too, afterall they don’t want to have to raise the price two months after launch. To me, yes it’s not what I’d spend on, but gold pieces or two-tone, always have a premium on them. If you think this is unreasonable, you’re not the market. These watches are for people who don’t look at the pricetag.
In the UK a bi-metal Daytona costs £4500 more than the steel. The Speedmaster is £9500 more. Ridiculous.
I have two dive watches that cover everything I do in the water.
Its not a new samurai. The Samurai is still continuing. Look at this new release, and look at the seiko shogun case. Its almost identical to the shogun. It just has the samurai crown and bezel, but its basically the shogun case. Hence its an upgraded shogun.
Seiko got rid of the chapter ring in the Shogun-Samurai. One less QC problem. Do you think they can align the bezel and the dial? 😅. It looks somewhat like the Phoibos Leviathan 40mm. Next comes the limited editions and special editions. And a reissue SKX to mark the anniversary. Seiko is laughing all the way to the bank. 💰. Great video!

Seiko doing typical seiko thjng recently, tag heuer continues to impress recently and omega still hanging on to the endless speedmaster models recently... totally agree with all what you say dude, the samurai has lost something and thenprice hike is just ridiculous tbh. That green Aquarcer ❤😍 wow... hopefully TH can keep the momentum going for this year and seiko decide to change the strategy or atleast up the specs on all the "upgraded" models.. 😊

I get that the two-tone isn’t for everyone and Omega did over price their watch a bit, but beat rate isn’t everything. The watch is METAS certified, so it will be every bit as accurate as high beat movements, and the co-axial escapement design is the most innovative and substantial change to watch movements for over 100 years. The only other mechanical change that can claim that is GS with their spring drive.
@@MattSeesGray agreed the co axial is innovative but the spring drive beats it hands down, took 20years to make with a completely smooth sweep, just my opinion
OMEGA is already overpriced and overhyped and keep slapping our face with their co axial techs and moonwatch and the crappy James bond marketing 🤢

Love your videos but there is something you must revise. EUR is approx. %10 more valuable in comparison to US$. So when you say that they are the same price is unfortunately not true. %10 is a big difference...
New Aquaracer is nice except for the cyclops. I like the new Seikos except for the price.
You know a very liitle about horology,6L caliber is excellent movement,infact Swiss soprod adopted 6L and rename it as A10.It’s very thin and that’s why it is in King Seiko 10mm case,it was also used in Credor.
Fun fact is that 6L can achive easily cosc but Seiko just don’t regulate their watches.
