The Impossible Living Tree & Brush Cutting Too!

- Today I am clearing brush for a customer who has had issues with homeless living in the brush. I had the unfortunate job of running them off with police help. I've had to do this a few times now and always difficult to do but the land owner had already given them fair warning to move on.
Also, I cut a huge tree down with brush cutter that seemed impossible that it was even growing. Watch entire video to see the action!

You always do amazing work. Mr. Schott! I don't know how you keep your arms from getting cut up by the branches.
Hello! Great job, impressive) Liked, subscribed to the channel. Good luck in your work and good orders!
Love ur channel! You use that mini skid like a boss. I just picked up a bobcat mt100.
Nice
Totally need a forestry mulcher attachment for your machine.
Do you of any brands for mini skid steer?
Holy smokes that tree still has leaves 😳 amazing.
Not sure how it was still standing or alive!
@@SchottServicesi know i almost feel sorry for it trying to stay alive 😉
@@BentIronBins there was a homeless camp right under the tree. I was concerned it was going to fall on me. But once I started pushing on it with machine it clearly did not want to go!
@@SchottServices yes it was only a matter of time good job
👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I see that you do not have tags for the video. I don’t want to teach anyone, but try to work on SEO optimization. This will help promote the channel and attract new customers. People are also looking on TH-cam for how something is being done and will end up on your videos. This is the target audience. After we started running our channel, the number of clients increased.
Thank you!
@@SchottServices Удачи!)
that tree had two broken legs, amputated arms, a skull fracture, scoliosis, covid 19, pneumonia, pancreatic cancer, a brain tumor, worts, leprosy, gangrene, a broken hip, diabetes, a cold sore, gout, multiple fungus, a uti, and hives. but it was still growning and very stubborn. it took everything you had to knock it down.
I couldn't have said it better!
Ever find yourself wishing you had more power like the CTX100? I’m still shopping and can’t decide what I truly NEED
Every once in awhile. Like digging into a big pile of wet dirt or hauling heavier boulders. But I'd say 90-95% of the time it's everything I need. There's not a big difference between 925 and 100. I'd go up to ctx160 to get a big jump in performance
I was thinking more for the bump to 40 HP moreso than the lifting capacity.
Is yours gas or the 25 HP diesel?
@@SchottServices
40 hp gas
Hey Schott how did you start your business with the mini skid iv been thinking of purchasing an mt100 mini track loader to start off my business but I’m not sure how I would do find work for it since it’s a much smaller machine
I didn't start with the mini. Started out cutting grass but after a few years I got a Toro Dingo then eventually the Vermeer mini skid steer. My focus has always been backyard residential type work. I'll do commercial jobs every once in awhile but typically on smaller scale. I've never owned/used a full size skid steer. I was able to transition into the work I do now because of the grass cutting/customer base I had built.
That doesn't mean you can't start with mini skid steer! Mini skid steers were just becoming popular when I started my business but they were nothing like the capabilities of today's machines!
If I had been given a spoon and pot. I would probably be running a restaurant today. I always enjoyed the outdoors. I started in the green house business working for a friend!. Then worked for a friend that cut grass. I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I thoroughly enjoy every day of what I do!
Make sure you enjoy it. Then go out and be communicative with customers. That is key to a successful business!
Be Joyful. Be Thankful. Work to Live!
Thank God For Everything!
@@SchottServices like your business was originally lawn care or you worked for someone else before buying a mini
How hot do your hydraulics get doing this kinda work?
I don't know exact temps but they can get hot in the summer. I keep backpack blower nearby to blow out dust/debris from radiator during brush cutting. Winter time there is typically no issue with overheating.
If that's all they want to pay for I have learned give them what they paid for.
I enjoy your videos, but you have got to do something about that microphone when you are talking. Whatever is rubbing against it is very annoying and quite frankly would make your videos unwatchable if you were talking louder. You need to either find out what rubs against the microphone when you carry it and make it stop or you need to look into other methods such as a remote mic or even start doing voice overs. Your videos are too good to be ruined by something as simple as your microphone.
Thank you for the input. Yes unfortunately this video is bad on the audio. I didnt realize it until i started editing it. I'm trying to figure out the editing process better. I just posted a new video. Please watch and let me know what you think!
