insipid means lacking flavor so how is that similar to letter D that says tasty?

Thank you for your interest in our channel. Both B and D are the opposite and agree that the nearest opposite of "insipid" is "tasty". Even though "pungent" is an opposite also. Insipid means Lacking flavor, interest, or excitement. Therefore, its antonym would be a word that conveys the opposite meaning, which is having a strong or pleasant flavor. Pungent: Has a strong, sharp smell or taste, which can be pleasant or unpleasant. Not necessarily the opposite. It's not the exact opposite of insipid, it doesn't directly convey a pleasant flavor. Tasty: Means having a pleasant, distinct flavor, which is the direct opposite of "insipid." Thus, the correct antonym is D. Tasty. Once again.. Thank you!
