I don’t have a printer, so I have been using my old portable typewriter and typing words on coffee stained paper. These will be a delightful option to add to my bag of tricks. I was chatting with a relation recently and she happened to say that she was about to through out two typewriters. So, thankfully she has put them away again and maybe sometime in 2021 I'll be able to collect them when I visit her - she is 450 miles away and of course we can't travel at the moment because of restrictions. (More than the typewriters, I just want to be able to visit her.) Anyway, thanks so much for your kind comments about my videos.
@@KylieCooStudio awesome. I searched for years for a large guillotine paper cutter. A neighbor had one in work they were throwing away! She gave it to me. I still use it! When the blades get dull I cut up sand paper. That helps! Happy for your find. It will be so good to visit her! Miss that!
Aw your little embellishments are so sweet. And they would also make lovely Xmas tree ornaments, or strung out along a piece of string along the wall. Tfs xo
FYI. I had a Kylie-Shel day.. I made nine of those little books you showed us how to make. I made them for children. I put the initials on the cover and included a sticker book with them. We have lots of little ones in our neighborhood. I plan on making some for my grandchildren tomorrow. They can go in their stockings if Santa leaves any room for extras 😀. I made my first ever paper piecing image in my December daily. I did today’s entry, and then had this idea for the 25th, so I skipped ahead. It was baby Jesus in the manger. Black background and gold star in the sky. Used a white Pasca Pen and wrote O Holy Night on the page. Simple but wanted to start small. You are such a treasure. Thank you so very much!!!!!!!!
I really love these little embellishments! This is the sort of project that can really get me going when I feel a little stuck. It can cheer me as I make it and then I can pass it on to others, too. As always - you take bit of scraps that would otherwise me wasted -and turn them into something that delights my heart. Thank you!

Love these! I'm a grungy girl too. Someone told me when you are using a stamp like the wooden one to set your piece your stamping on a magazine or catalog and it will give you a better imprint. It really worked well!
@@KylieCooStudio I watched the older one on journal words....LOVE the way you quick dyed the papers.... that is a method I can see me doing. I don't have the time, space or desire to coffee dye a bunch of paper... so this really appeals to me on an as needed basis!!!

There are so many ways to use this. I haven't seen why I needed that punching tool, which costs $30 here, but I guess it will go onto my wishlist. I ruined all my circle punches by trying to use card stock. They jammed and bent. So I think I will make circle die cuts.
Thanks Victoria. The punch is expensive - I got mine a few years ago now and I have to say that I use it a lot so I guess it was worth it. But if I didn't have it I would just use a little standard office punch. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

I spray a clear coat on inkjet or water soluble ink pages. Extra 5 minutes is worth the peace of mind.
