They were definetely in differnt lagues. After the K.O, Tawanchai looks like he is ready to take on the next guy right then and there.

Fighters are so tuff that they will die rather then quitting in between rounds..& thats when coaches should intervene..

I don't know anything about Sean Clancy, but in this fight, he was waaaaay out of his league. This looked like a casual sparring session for Tawanchai.
Dude, Taiwanchai at this point was only like 22/23 years old with just over 200+ fights and was still considered inexperienced, at the highest level of Thailand Muay Thai. Think about that. Most of the greatest Thai boxers have around 300+ fights. I feel sad for Clancy, they put him in there with a monster and dude literally took a beating. This fight was just another sparring session for Taiwanchai tho 🤦🏻

Honestly, is that actually a thing that someone ever tries to do with downward/flying elbows, or even just in general. I've never seen it, and it looks like they are always aiming for the head, which also makes much more sense to me.
I love that there are fights like this where I can hear every strike landed without distractions

This was easy to watch compared to other Muay Thai fights. There are hundreds of fights in Muay Thai with Nak Muays getting absolutely pummeled and beaten far worse then this.

Feel like Sean is too tough for his own good. In the second round, during the clinch, Tawanchai's face is expressionless, almost looking bored. Right after is when it almost looked like he was toying with Sean, throwing multiple jumping downward elbows and almost attempted an upward elbow. All the shots after the clinch was picked perfectly and didn't miss its target. Tawanchai's mouth was closed even at the end of the round, no laboured breathing. So relaxed. Yikes.
The irishman was out of his depth, skill wise. Hes also tough and stubborn...which is a bad combo for the integrity of one's face.
Leave Muy Thai to the Thais 😂

I think it has something to do with the intimidation factors too. Sean probably spend enough time in Thailand to know who Tawanchai is. I rather had Sean not knowing anything about him before the fight. Outclass agreed but it could be a bit more exciting than this.

Tawanchai takes everything that Clancy throws at him, like they are padded up and sparring. They are on completely different levels. It's satisfying to look at, but the fight shouldn't have happened TBH. I'd be ragning at ONE if i was in Clancys corner.
Didn't you see his face? The problem here wasn't intimidation but trying to keep up with a better fighter and neglecting your defense in the process. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some fractures in his face after this because he let Tawanchai use it as a punching ball trying to get at him instead of covering up better. You can never win against a faster, more experienced fighter if you drop your hands all the time.

It's can appreciate watching high level Muay Thai fighters like this one, however, these are two individuals on different levels and I don't want to see peeps get unnecessarily hurt. If I was in Clancy's corner, I would of called it. No need to take further damage because there was no way that Clancy was going to KO the Thai fighter. Fight well on another day. I guess the referee is a former Muay Thai fighter, saw him speak Thai to the Thai.

I prefer to watch without commentary but I also prefer One's commentary (unless it's Steve Dawson) over the UFC's unnecessary constant chatter, often nothing to do with the fight.
