Aqua, the Introvert Entertainer: “This is where I die. Itadakimasu!”
The onion is allergic to cucumbers, and somehow still seemed to enjoy it more then Suisei, she really does hate vegetables
@formortiiswarhawk7255nah bruh vegetables just sucks
nah man cucumber tastes like half-dry half-assed watermelon, fitting considering thats basically what it is@formortiiswarhawk7255
Cucumbers tastes good tho
Mmm for some cucumber are horrible so I won't complain cuz I myself can't eat raw tomato ( I get dizzy after eating it)
@@silvershowerhandletropical cucumber is sweet, you can eat it raw or put some salt on it
A few commenters mentioned it in replies but for anyone curious people can develop allergies to almost any substance. For cucumber allergy the most common occurance is due to a similar protien it contains to the rubber tree used in making latex. About 1/3 of people allergic to latex will be allergic to cucumbers.
Oh wow, thanks for the info and quite interesting to learn ppl can be allergic to pretty much anythin guess we just arent that much aware of it since they are fairly rare? And most of us only knows about the mainstream ones.
@@BlackPointt You'll be surprised. For people with solar urticaria like myself, I have limited tolerance to UV rays - specifically UVA/UVB.
Most people just jump to the conclusion that I can't be in the sun, but the key point is "limited exposure".
thanks for the education
aqua prefers it raw lets goooooooo
What's your opinion on Squidward's newspaper allergic?
@@Empyrean_Enigma if it is like that, your natural chemical balance is disturbed by something. It maybe medication or something else, that changed since you were a kid.
she is literally a cat
right, Pekora is the cucumber roll princess.
Pekora is such a foodie, bless her carrot :")
Pekora may have comedian moments, but she is very serious about other talents' welfare. When she knew about Aqua's allergy, she immediately became worried.
Not to discredit your comment, but that's just the expected thing to do. Everybody treats allergies seriously
True who wouldn't? But also she has to or she can be legally liable, specially if its live on the internet, good thing nothing went wrong and everyone is safe.
I do agree with Pekora, it is surprising to know that you can be allergic to a vegetable. I was unaware of that posibility.
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom nah, ive known some irl people who just tried to brush someone's allergies off as if they were just a miniscule thing. Safe to say I'm not friends with them anymore.
in school there was a kid who had a nut allergy and could potentially die from even physical contact with them. in maths class, people were throwing around a snickers bar and laughing about it, knowing about their allergy. idk, just some people are stupid @@yachief1579
@@yachief1579I knew some people who do that.... to themselves, they allergic to chicken but keep eating it through out middle school that the symptoms basically don't appear anymore..... idk how or what the reasoning behind but hey thats cool. (I also don't respect someone who don't treat other allergy seriously)
Pekora has mature taste
Mature milk taste
she tasted marine?
I used to have allergies to cucumbers, and also a bunch of other raw veggies/fruits (carrots, cherries, apples, etc), not enough to kill me but enough to make the aftermath of eating them unpleasant. Years and years later I found out that it was actually something called "oral allergy syndrome" where you're not explicitly allergic to the foods, but it's basically just pollen cross-reaction (and I had an extreme case of hay fever). Nowadays it's not as bad anyway, but, the more you know.
What symptoms did you had?
I'm asking, because when I eat certain rare veggies, I suddenly feel nauseous because of them.
I can eat a little carrot, radish, lettuce and other veggies with a lot of bread or other food. But without that I cant. I did not throw up yet, but because I always stopped before it happening.
And its weird, because I can eat meat, milk, bread, potato and other heavy stuff together and my stomach handels it without any problem.
@@masanobumaou Mainly, it was just an incredibly scratchy throat afterwards (+I think somewhat swollen, though not enough to inhibit breathing like serious allergies, I just felt Something Weird), though the degree changed between different foods. I don't explicitly remember any nausea, but idk. And as I mentioned, it was only if they were raw, even if they were just boiled it was fine, I assume whatever heating denatured whatever pollens/etc were causing the issue. But I wouldn't rule it out either if you have different annoying symptoms, because allergies can take pretty different forms.
But also, if you can take it alongside other foods, it might be more of a texture aversion than an allergy (I would still be able to suspect if small amounts of these uncooked things were in meals afterwards, even if I couldn't tell while I was eating them, since I would still have the reaction afterwards).
Out of curiosity - does peeling the raw fruits/veggies solve the problem? I'm assuming if it's a pollen cross-reaction then most of the issue is surface level
Huh, what about me then, when young I am allergic to shrimp, but then at one time my mother fry around 1 kg of shrimp and told me and my brother to finish that saying "if you still allergic you will miss out one of the best food for the rest of your life" , and yes I finish that all and somehow that cure my allergy, shrimp become my favourite, before even eat 1 will make my face and neck full of rash
@@TF_NowWithExtraCharacters Nah, peeled apples/carrots did it too (also washed cherries/whatever). OAS is a "cross-reaction" and not just a reaction to residual pollen on foods because it's caused by allergens that exist in both pollen + the foods, not pollen itself. I'm not an allergenist, but basically when I developed the pollen allergy I assume my body used a certain substance in pollen as the "identifying trigger" for it, and that happened to also be in these foods. And since not everyones' bodies use the same substances to signal pollen allergies (afaik), that'd explain why most hay fever people don't get OAS since their bodies choose chemicals that aren't in the foods.
Well, she is a rabbit after all..
Aqua's brave to jump into trying that stuff with her allergies. Personally, even if I could get away with rushing in, I'd ask first; BSTS.
A little bonus allergy PSA: sometimes one's not actually allergic to the core food, but to the pesticides/flavorings/dyes used to protect/enhance/dress up said food. That's how they can be problematic even if they're otherwise clinically safe. A very good reason to go natural/organic as you'll be encountering less of that crap even with cross-contamination in shipping. More expensive, but it still beats emergency treatment and medical costs. And cosmetics and cleaning/body care products have less strict standards for ingredient naming than food, allowing more of that stuff to hide in the former, so you should definitely be extra-careful with those.
Pekora: rabbit tastebuds, can taste umami but ignores the vegetable-y smell
Everyone else: can't eat because it smells like aojiru and sticky for no good reason
Yes, I've tried this product before. It's slimy in texture no thanks to the kelp, and the cucumber only made it worse. It's tasty but the sliminess makes you queasy---this coming from me who can eat natto just fine!
I thought natto is already the king of slimy foods lol
Cucumber eggplant kelp, I can already imagine the texture lol
Now it makes sense when pekora said she eats it with tofu or rice, cos you need something bland to counter the flavour lmao
Its honestly not about how much she won.she made that kind of dough in 2~3 stream.its more about finally getting the win after 2 years of loss
Suisei : I have no allergy
also Suisei started to sniff hard after eating some rice
Aqua is allergic to 90% water, how Ironic
I just wanna are u for real or just joking ? If ur for real ur an real idiot. If its joke not funny. Go try to learn how to joke
I did some research because I too was amused by her cucumber allergies. Apparently human can have allergy reaction to literally anything. Allergy to water, food, animal, and rarely even allergy to other human being.
if you are allergic to water... what do you do? o.o
your WHOLE BODY is filled with water
@@doggosukiMaybe because they aren’t allergic to pure H2O but to the common minerals/additive found in everyday water source.
What do you think of Squidward's newspaper allergic?
Oh no, Aqua has the last one too. The ol' ningen allergy.
I thought cucumber is the most inoffensive vegetable/food of all, since its like 96% water, but hey the more you know lol
oh neat, I want to try this out in the future

I wonder if she is allergic to melons as well
and the answer is yes
yes, she did mention this in member stream iirc.
@@nauchx but I'm kinda forgot she said melon or watermelon...
cucumbers are based idk why people dislike veggies they're so nice when well made
I have no allergy (maybe) so I don't know this fact, but can you really die from allergy??
Yes, if you're severely allergic. Allergies can occur in many different severities. If you've got a severe allergy to something you can get an anaphylactic shock and that can indeed kill you. An anaphylactic shock happens in two stages, a rash stage and the dangerous stage, which can come very quickly after the first. If it reaches stage two and you're not in the hospital (or have an epipen if it's a known allergy) you're gone. Your throat swells up, breathing gets difficult, your heart goes out of rhythm and many other symptoms. Allergies are no joke, because you can never know how severe they can be.
@@flowerdolphin5648 oh my I hope anyone who has allergy take xcare of themselves tnx for the info btw
A family member, cousin, was allergic to shellfish. Shrimp, scallops, crabs, anything with a shell. Their family was boiling shrimp in a pot. The air/steam migrated to his room. He went into shock, his throat swelled up, and choked to death.
idk that miss onion is allergic to cucumbers. wow thats a surprise to me. 😮
sadly she has a lot of allergies to some vegetables 🥲
My girlfriend told me for years she was allergic to shrimp. And revealed eventually that that was a complete lie and she just doesn’t like shrimp, and that’s the best way to make sure nobody ever tries to give her some
Maybe that’s what is going on here. (I, too have never heard of someone being allergic to cucumbers. They are almost 100% water)
Whatever the reason, just don't give her cucumber. End of story.
As a person with some allergic reaction to shrimp.
I doubt it, aqua knows there's cucumber but she still ate some. It doesn't look she dislikes it. She doesn't look like a picky eater and ate it immediately. But it took her lots of time to know cucumber was a source of her allergic reaction i guess.
I wouldn't risk anyone to force them to feed any food they're allergic with (even if it's a lie)
@@Blitzkit I was allergic to eggplant and didn’t know it until adulthood. And eggplant parm used to be my favorite Italian food.
I just thought eggplant was spicy.
A simple Google search can answer your question regarding allergy to cucumbers. It's the first time I heard it too. Either way we don't play with allergies, those pesky things varies from simple rashes to unalive moments, so it's better safe than sorry.
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom I’ll be very careful the next time we go out to dinner.
How can someone be allergic to cucumber? It's mostly water.
Even water allergies exist you know
Currently science isn't exactly sure what causes it. But it's thought that it probably has to do with the profilin protein in the cucumber. It's called latex food syndrome because if you become allergic to the allergens in latex you may also develop an allergic reaction to certain protiens with the same shape.
I don't know if this is the allergy she has though. Those proteins are also found in some other fruits like kiwi and pumpkin. Maybe she doesn't know if she is allergic to those. Maybe it's a different quantity of protiens so it's fine. Maybe there is a other way she is allergic to cucumbers.
Basically, while they have a lot of water. Cucumbers also have a lot of other stuff that you can be allergic to.
Ngl, most things people are allergic to are “mostly water” by mass
Idk what it being mostly water has to do with anything. Cucumber isn't water.
People with such allergies do exist.
And it's mostly water, but still has other components that can make you allergic to it.
But a cucumber is 96% water. How can Aqua of all people be allergic?
How are you allergic to cucumber. It’s 99% water.
Noice, from now on Imma substitute water with cucumber for all my recipes.
Aqua is lying because she hates Cucumber. 6 years of her streaming career and there was no mention of any allergy at all.
Dumb assumption
Idiot.
WE ARE GOING BACK TO MENTAL ASYLUM WITH THIS COMMENT 🔥🔥🔥 🗣🗣🗣
Allergies can develop suddenly, and she did mention this recently onstream.
