I noticed something, South indian movies tend to portray Indian traditions and culture really well. And they still end up looking dope.

Allu Arjun is an undercover cop in this movie. The villain found out about Allu Arjun and sent his men to kill him. But Allu Arjun did not know who their boss was. So he kept asking them what their boss' name was while pretending to be an innocent pious man. And he wasn't hitting them in the beginning as he had that godly amulet in his neck. With that amulet on his neck he wasn't allowed to fight. Once they cut off the amulet, he fired back.
He's not a cop in this movie....more like a vigilante who's helping the police

I am gonna say just enjoy the South movies don't go into deep about logic and all, after all south movies are regional movies they are giving there best to entertain the audience. So just enjoy, for more explanation I would say makkhi movie or eega movie it was a very great movie. In which the fly in last kills the villain which seems illogical,but still it was I like the movie due to the story and vfx which was done in low bugget. So just enjoy the movie.

the actor is more focussed on getting the info about their boss and his name, he was only begging for his boss name reveal right from the start of the scene, the action starts only after they cut his Rudraksha, whcih is a very sacred and that is like crossing the red line, again this is hyped up shots that any telugu movie does, i guess its because the Audience demands such cliche stuffs.
he purposfully made them to remove that locket, his dad puts it on him by swearingn on his life that he cannot remove it. If you see the other scenes of movie, he asks someone like his cousine mostly to remove that. Its not "crossing the line"
