  • In this video i have deeply dissociation difference between join command vs region command vs boundary command in autocad
1.In autocad join command (J) we have Joins the end points of linear and curved objects to create a single object. it may be open profile or close profile.
2.In autocad region command (REG) we have Converts close objects area into a 2D region object or Regions are 2D areas. in this case we only region some of basi profile like polylines, circular arcs, circles, elliptical arcs, ellipses, and splines and profile are must be closed. we also find out physical properties like centroid ,moment of inertia ,Perimeter, Product of inertia,Radii of gyration, Radii of gyration using MASSPROP command.
3.In autocad Boundary command (j) we have Creates regions or a polylines from enclosed areas. in this case we have use both of join command and region command and we also create a new area and move it as per required.
