This is such a good guide! Been playing roaming thief builds since 2012 and have loved every second of it. This is exactly what I have taught my friends and guild mates. Now I can just send them here for an easy and smooth explanation of the role. Amazing work as always!
I'm thinking of getting involved in PvP....was a big SWTOR player back in the day...pure PvP. Your tips are easily digestible, even though I think I would have to come back and watch a few times because inevitably, PvP is quite complex, yet it was chock full of information. Subbed! I'm still learning end game Revenant PvE so if you have a vid on that, I'm going to check it out. Suggestion would be to slow down a bit because for a beginner, the terms and jargon can be a bit muddy and unclear, especially as it relates to strategic moves.

Hey Bruno! The patch mostly affected PvE builds. PvP meta is pretty much exactly the same. However, reaper got some good buffs so that might be played more!
Hey Eric! If your side noder is in a 1v2, you can take the 2v2 if your teammate isn't going to die before/soon after you arrive and if it's an even/winning 2v2. If your side noder is very good and they can win their 1v1s and not die in an outnumbered fight, you can just leave them alone and get value elsewhere. Otherwise, if your side noder is in a 1v1, don't plus unless you can quickly kill, decap, or full cap in bunker 1v1s. It's bad for a roamer to plus if they don't kill or advance map state in any way. Well put together video, however I think it's a stretch to call it a beginner's guide. You use a lot of pvp jargon, that new players won't recognize, which should be explained imo. Also I think the general tempo of the video was a little too fast for my liking. Another idea is - showing the map when you are explaining roaming rather than a list of actions. Hope it's helpful and not annoying :)
Hey Simon! Thanks for the feedback! Which terms do you think would be unfamiliar to new players? I can slow future videos down as well. As for the map, unfortunately there aren't any large, high-quality maps for Conquest that I can use but I'll see what I can do going forward.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think 'node' is a term used in game, so you should probably clarify capture point. Maybe weird criticism, but since "complete beginner" is in the title, I think it's a fair to point out :) Also, never heard "bunker" before. Still a useful video tho, I just think it can turn a lot of new players off, if you use terms without explaining them..
You don’t mention harbinger, any reason you are not considering it as a roamer ? PS : really enjoyed your videos, learn a lot watching them and really like the format.
Hi Arico! Condi harbinger is a teamfighter / side noder. Unlike other roamers, it doesn't have the low cooldown spike damage necessary to quickly down enemy players outside of Elixir of Ambition. Although weaker overall, power harbinger can roam more effectively than its counterpart at the cost of 1v1 potential.
