The story that this song and music video told is so heartbreakingly beautiful. When you're looking for the person you love in other people and although they may look like them and remind you of them, you start to notice that their smile and laugh isn't the same or that they don't understand the inside jokes you once shared with your past love, or even that their eyes don't shine the same way theirs did. You may feel like you're in love with them but over time you realize that you're in love with who you want them to be and the illusion fades and you start to hate the person you're with. Not because they did anything wrong but because you can't stand that they aren't that person and it becomes harder to be around them because they're just a constant reminder. And then you're left alone again with your thoughts and memories and the realization that no one will ever compare to them and what you guys had. And although this story is heartbreaking it honestly is a reality for many people who have lost someone that they love whether it be because they passed away or they're no longer around and regardless of it was a relationship or not. It could've been a friend or a family member, but we crave the feeling that only that person could give to us, and we slowly realize nothing can bring them back and we're just left with the good times and feelings that they provided.
That's right. And it's because every person is an entirely unique being. There's 7.7 billion people but there are no two identical people. That's why losing someone is always a pain, and that's why nobody can make up for that person.

Insanely catchy track, you guys have really gotten the hang of the pop/EDM crossover. Hope it's not the end of the more experimental electronic songs though, you guys are so technically skilled. Very nice video too, glad it didn't have as many quick cuts as the Crime video.
