This was a great love story. But what makes it even better is that Istan Rozumny is cast in it as a supporting character. In the background as the narrator of the story is confronted by the old girlfriend, you can see the Istan character interacting with the boyfriend. They negotiate and it ends in a handshake in the background. This is all great camera work, acting and direction. The DramatizeMe production crew once again comes through and sound editing is once again counted on to produce an ending with a lyrical musical song as the episode ends with a supremely romantic kiss. Excellent and perfection!

When I was 13, I was used as a scarecrow by a 'friend'. A boy kept giving her heart-eyes, repeatedly passing by the room we were studying in..and she didn't want his attention. So she asked me to exchange seats. And the next time poor 'heart-eyes' passed by, he had to look at me instead of the beauty he was eyeing. Unsurprisingly, he was repulsed and went away. Everyone else learned the trick and I became the official class-scarecrow.

I see the message you were trying to convey, but honestly the story failed at sending that message. The only message that came across was that love is superficial.😂 The guy only truly looked at her when she changed everything about her looks, and fit the stereotypical standard of beauty. He literally said something along the lines of: “How haven’t I noticed you before”, after the makeover. You don’t need makeup and fancy outfits to look beautiful. She looked great before the unnecessary makeover. Her outfit was cute, her glasses were fine and her hair was just messy, but she had gorgeous locks. She shouldn’t have had to change herself to please others, specifically the guy she liked.
She deserved a better man. The guy was good looking, but looks don’t equate to unconditional love, and a non superficial view of love. His love for her was conditional of her changing her looks. If she hadn’t changed her looks, he never would have gone for her. When they were at her house, the moment he realized hen felt something brushed it off, and when she looked “pretty”, he decided he wanted her. Just no.
True about fancy outfit. There is this T-Shirt dress with a slight flutter look to the sleeves. Not sure if to say it is fuschia or magenta, but one day I was at the local grocer, and was wearing boots slightly above ankles, and I felt just as good as someone in heels and fancy dress. I had not worn the dress in a long time because it was in my storage as I been putting stuff in there trying to move out of where I live one day. I think I wore my head wrap that I cut from a tee as I washed my hair and not feel motivated to flat iron my hair.
But yes, personality is what makes true beauty.
I had two types of ex-boyfriends. The ones who were ok looking to me or almost ugly treated me soooo much better than the studs. The studs were abusive towards me. The ones who treated me better did not work out in the long run because it was not meant to be. If I were to marry for the first time, I rather marry a not attractive guy but got an attractive heart than an absolute stud but who has an ugly heart.
