i love that 240p,just like back in the day
listening to this 13 years later as an utau user, its super apparent that utau and its voicebanks have come a long way from this video, most apparent in the less clean vocals (notice how their notes tend to be a little off tune?) and i personally think its charming! thx to that, the clearly adobe flash editing, and the 2008 radiating from the whole product, this video just... feels so, so sweet

That is a lot of UTAUs! Except I did happen to notice they cheated a bit. At around.......8:40, the female voice there is Acme Iku, and she's not an UTAU. xD She is, however, close enough to be used, and it still sounds amazing.

It's a simple collaboration. The UTAU program CAN import VOCALOID files. Import a Vocaloid file into it, use an UTAU voice bank to fill in the other stanzas. Or, to put it a different way, one can program the vocals in UTAU for the UTAU character while the VOCALOID user can create the music and other half of said vocals. Mesh the music files. Teto is partially recognized, just like Haku, Neru, and Hachune, but they own NO rights to her. None whatsoever.

Ted is the American spelling and pronunciation, Tedo is the Japanese one, so depending on your accent, either one is definately acceptable.
This rendition doesn't flatter some of them...I've heard a lot of them sing better in different songs.

Also the explanation as to how she sings with vocaloids is the same as the explanation of how any character that uses Vocaloid1 sings with any character that uses Vocaloid2. Two different programs, that use two different file formats. Make them sing with the respective programs then put it together with the same program u use to put their voices with the music.
