@Call of Adventure : LOL. Changing preload never reduces/increase seat height of any bike available in India. Changing preload to a softer setting, increases the spring travel and will damp more. So you'll feel low once sat on it because the spring shrinks more for your weight. This reduce high speed stability and pushes the center of gravity towards the rear wheel - not at all recommended on any bike but on a cruiser bike. May be OK for this bike, it barely goes to 99-100 kph. But please, for your own safety, don't do this on a higher capacity bike which can do actual high speed.
