@@ptbproductions4134 btw, i forgot to recommend her live performance of ANAK (CHILD) at Louie Ocampo's concert. she actually learned the arrangement of the song a day before her performance because she just replaced Sarah G who was supposed to do it but got sick so they had to tap Katrina and prepare everything on short notice. she's very professional that Louie got so impressed by her talent and musicality. the arrangement is very complicated and challenging (apparently not for Katrina 😁) because the original is a very simple and emotional folk song...it talks about a child who lost his way in life but realized his mistakes and came back to his parents who was hurt by everything he's done.th-cam.com/video/x_4I52nZ_f4/w-d-xo.html
I’m also a big fan of Katrina. Personally, I believe she is the best singer in the planet. There are lots of excellent singers today but her vocal agility is really next to none. One of my favourite performances she did was “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. I hope you’ll also react to it. It doesn’t matter which version. All of them are great. You can react to all of them, if you want.
please react to Katrina's duet with Monique Lualhati for "Flashlight", if you have not already done so. there are a couple of performances of this, and I recommend the one done inside a house, and not on stage this is one of the most underrated videos I've ever seen, and definitely deserves more coverage, and I am calling on a Katrina fan like you to spread the word

*Everyone knows Powerhouse Katrina is also the Queen of riffs & runs...but this song in particular really showcases that ability.* (Unfortunately her US tour meant in Apr/May is cancelled due to the promoter's issues)
unfortunately, her April-May shows in the US have been cancelled because of issues with the promoter there with Filipino comediennes who were not properly paid by them. i think they proactively cancelled it to avoid running into the same issues. who would wanna do business with such fraudulent people.
this is the 2nd time her US tour has been cancelled. Its very sad. Very hard to be a singer in the Philippines. An artist in this calibre should be supported by the Filipino entertainment industry, but unfortunately they don't. Instead, they support all these other mediocre artists. She ends up having to deal with small-time producers who are disorganized & have no idea what they are doing.
