Glad you are doing better Stephen, like the choice you pick out for the group build,👍🙏 Thanks for sharing.
@@DonnieGriffin-eo2eo thanks, Donnie, I appreciate you, brother 😊 Hoping to start building today 😁
Still keeping you both in prayer, ol Bud!
@keithjenkins7952 thanks, old friend 😊🙏
Glad you doing better Steven! Liking that 64 Cutlass, looking forward to seeing this build.
@Mannysscalemodeling thanks, brother, on both counts 😊🙏 Taking it day by day. Today's a long one, haven't been able to sleep/haven't slept (between coughing and grand baby duties, lol) since what little I got Thursday night, but at least it's been "productive coughs" getting it up and out of me 😮💨😆
@@SmallADVentures1973 Your welcome! Oh man not sleeping doesnt help I hear ya! Take it easy and get some sleep and bench time and baby time lol
Glad you are feeling better, Stephen. Pneumonia definitely sucks and takes a bit to get over. Cool choice for your group build. Thanks for sharing and take care, Link!!
@linkpoison5511 thanks, Link, I appreciate you, brother 😊 I used to get it every year after 2001, but hadn't had it for a few, apparently this one was actually the worst I've ever had 😮💨
Okay, your health is very scary! I'm glad you stay in such good shape to fight the illness. Please take care of yourself first and foremost! I will keep you in my thoughts! 💕 Cool choice for the group build! 😎👍
@theintake8961 I appreciate you, Mike 🙏 It's getting there, yeah (scary) 😳🤣 I guess now that I'm over 50 it's time to stop thinking I'm a young and invincible super soldier and brushing everything off when I'm sick or injured 😮💨 Having had covid last month probably didn't help this much either, and I know nearly two packs of smokes per day (because I'm just sitting around doing nothing) isn't. I've half heartedly tried to quit a few times over the years, but I think it's past time to start a new year smoke free, especially since I'm obviously getting older and want to see my granddaughter grow up 😊 I've been wanting to build a mid 60's Olds for a while, just needed a kick in the pants, hopefully it goes together the way I'm picturing it 🤞🙂🤞
Glad you are doing better Stephen, nice choice for the GB too, 😎👍🙏
@ramblers69 thanks, Tom, I appreciate you, brother 😊 Hoping to get cracking on it today. Haven't been to sleep yet (coughing fits kept me up), heading to nap now, lol
Stephen, I hope you continue to feel better. That pneumonia is no joke. Scary deal man. Glad you went in there. Love that Cutlass. I’ve always enjoyed that box art. I need to pick it up sometime. Can’t wait to see your build. We’ll keep the prayers coming, my friend.
@kyledehartsscaleworks thanks much, Kyle, I appreciate you, brother 🙏 Box art is why I originally bought both kits (442 and ragtop) 👍 I did not feel up to working on it by the time I did a few chores and I ran out for a bit today (Wes's Model Car Corner was having a killer sale 🤫🤣). Struggled pretty hard after getting back 😮💨 My Dr note is good until Sunday night, and they've got me scheduled for three 12's next week (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday), not sure I'll be up to that yet, it's a fairly physical job. Actually, we're still undecided if I should even go back there...
@@SmallADVentures1973 honestly Stephen, with all the recent issues (perhaps not entirely the sick people at works fault) that work has contributed to you, I’d be hesitant to go back as well. Enjoy the time off as much as you can and get rested up and feeling better. I’ve done mail order from Wes’s before. Seems like a great shop!!
@kyledehartsscaleworks thanks, brother, that's the plan 👍 Wes's really is good people, once I discovered them being so close, they're my go-to. I stopped by work earlier while I was out to pick up our granddaughter for the weekend to tell them (my favorite manager is working tonight). Not all at once, but every single coworker came out to tell me they missed me and that work sucks without me there to make em laugh, lol 🥰🤣
@@SmallADVentures1973 hey, it’s good to be liked by your coworkers. Sure makes the days go by smoother. lol. Hope you’re continuing to trend the right direction!! Catch you again soon
Glad you are feeling better! Good luck on the build! 39 likes!
Glad you are doing a bit better Stephen,.. can’t wait to see what that build turns into!
@nickarvanites9409 thanks much, Nick, I appreciate you, brother 😊 Me too! 😁 I'm thinking, put lots of emphasis on "the look" I'm wanting, add a few extra details 🤔🙂
Sorry to hear about your health scare--good gracious! Glad you are getting better. 😍
@JP1970 Thanks, Jason, I appreciate you, brother 😊🙏 Slowly (getting better), I have to remind myself not to push it (I'm dang anxious to get back to working out, for example, because I've not been consistent for tge last 2 months between this and covid last month 🤦🤣). I was just about to watch your sandal review when I saw this comment 😁
When I had my first and worse case of pneumonia, my Dr said it is basically like you're drowning. So happy to hear you're doing better. It's a nasty illness. Rest and recuperation. Nice kit for the group build and don't worry about going long on the end date, Mike mainly wants everyone to have fun and help us get some additional subs from it. Take care my friend!!
@LarrysModelShop yep, drowning in your own mucus and fluids, ugh. I would get a moderate case of it every year after damaging my left lung in 2001, but I hadn't I tge last few years. Apparently, this has been my worst case of it (I've never been told "we need to ventilate you for a couple days" or "you may had suffocated and died within another day" before 😳). I kinda figured it wouldn't be a problem if any of us was running a little behind, I just wanna make sure mine doesn't turn into another 2021 Dodge Charger R/T (my last year's entry, that's still barely started 🤦) 🤣 I appreciate you, Larry, I hope your week is going well, brother ✌️😊
@@SmallADVentures1973 Thank you man! Hope you have a positive week and an outstanding weekend!
Stephen I'll be praying for your quick recovery brother ❤😊
@@thescalemodelcarguychannel8681 I really appreciate that Shawn 🙏 Prayer has saved my life more times than I want to count over the years. How're you and the wife doing?
Glad you are getting better Stephen. Looking forward to seeing that Cutlass!!
Good to hear your getting better Stephen it's not a very pleasant experience I no had it before. Great kit for the next build have fun buddy 👍
@@seamybmw thanks, Seamus, I appreciate you, brother 😊🙏
Glad you are feeling better ! I've looked at that kit many times. I'm sold on the box art LOL but I haven't seen one built yet so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do 👍
@brucek3217 Thanks, my friend, I appreciate it 🙏 That's me too, aside from liking 64-65 GM cars, I dug the box art, but I can't remember seeing anyone actually build one 🤔 I remember Luca Cee did one video about mini tabbing the rear for cheater slicks, but that's all I can remember seeing 😆 I guess we'll find out together 😊
Cool choice for the group build Stephen. Hope you get to feeling better and better, Ron
@ronstewart9792 thanks much, Ron, I appreciate you 🙏 I'm hoping to get started on it later today 😊
Hope you continue to feel better! Keep up with it, pneumonia will flat out kill you! Look forward to seeing the Cutlass build, I like that body style!
@Ratdaddy2023 thanks, my friend, I appreciate you 🙏 I'd taken it for granted because I'd had it so many times (about once per year from 2001 through about 2018 ish), I'm learning that that was a mistake to do so 🤦🤣 I went out to buy something earlier and am suffering for it this evening, and I have an appointment tomorrow, but looking like I'll be extending my time off from work next week 😮💨 Me too, especially the Cutlass and the Malibu for me 😁👍
Glad your up and kickin dude. Pretty kewl kit for the GB.
@olezippi thanks, Zippi, I appreciate you, brother 😊 Fixing to finally get a little now, and kick start that Olds later today 🤪
Glad to see you're doing better buddy. Don't overdo it. That'll be a fun build, I'll be following!
@BigSkyModelWorkshop thanks, Joe, I appreciate you, brother 😊 I should've stayed home today (I'm suffering niw because I didn't), but Wes's Model Car Corner has a sale going...🤦🤣
Glad you're doing better, thats pretty scary my friend. Take care and get some rest.
@papasmodelcarroom8450 thanks, Rob, I appreciate it 🙏 I ran an errand today (ok...I ran to Wes's Model Car Corner 🤪), struggling with worse coughs and breathing now, should've waited more days 😮💨 (but that sale...lol)
Super glad Stephen you got ur pneumonia under control and your ok bro hate to hear anything happen to you over not going the doctor so glad you went bro keep on building bro..keith
@keithsmodelsandrcs6593 I appreciate you, Keith 🙏 It's not quite beaten yet, and I've overdone things a bit last 2 days, but I'm getting there 🙂 The problem is the left one has "diminished capacity" from an old Army injury (my medical history/all those injuries back then are tge primary reason why I try to stay so fit now 😉🤣)
Damn bro, you need to rest. Olds will be dope but it can wait
@@Olskooldime thanks, brother, I appreciate it 🙏 Trust me, I'm taking this more seriously than it looks, taking it easy, and changes are starting now and coming (more cardio in my workouts, less bad foods, smoke free 2025, etc) 🙂
Nice choice for the group build! I got you subbed now so i can follow. I'm way behind on building mine.
@@pappytinkers thank you, my friend, I appreciate it 🙏 Me too, even my Under 1000 from last year is only about 30% finished still 🤦🤣👍
@@SmallADVentures1973 I just got done stripping mine for the second time 😥
Man, you still sound pretty sick, take it easy and recoup
@DisabledCyclist thanks, my friend, I appreciate you 🙏 I am actually still pretty sick (I guess old habits of trying to hide any weaknesses are hard to stop), but I'm taking it more seriously than I let on 🙂👍
You need to do nothing but rest, and you do not need to go back to that place where you've caught serious illness twice in 2 months. Stop underplaying this, she said you were not far from actually dying if you had not went when you did :-(
@@SteveTina1992 I promise that I'm taking this much more seriously than I let on, for lots of reasons, not the least of which that Feable loves and needs her PopPop 🙂👍
