I’ve always admired the technological advancements of the skydweller. Looks wise, not so much. It’s a marvel of engineering, and that alone can be appreciated.
It’s a beauty! I got a SS blue dial when they came out and kept it 4 years. When they added the green dial, i knew i had to have it. I’m not a jubilee fan at all so i went oyster bracelet and I love it. It’s a masculine and robust watch and not for small wrists. Unfortunately i had to go grey but i just wasn’t dealing with the AD games on this one. Watch is stunning!
Love to hear this. Blue dial is equally as stunning, in the right lighting arguable more. May you wear her in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance! Thank you for sharing.
I think the steel SkyDweller is going to remain extremely challenging to acquire from the AD. I have a very good purchase history that goes back 10 years, which includes more than just Rolex. In that time, my AD has offered me / I have purchased almost every sports model. I have been called for rose / olive dial DayDate, White Gold / Blue dial Daytona, Black dial steel Daytona, Batgirl, Hulk, and many others. The only models that I have never been offered despite expressing my interest are… 1. Panda steel Daytona 2. Pepsi on jubilee 3. Yachtmaster 42 titanium (new) 4. Skydweller steel / jubilee. I’ve been waiting since 2021 for a white dial SkyDweller and I’m surprised that it’s still unavailable. I decided to purchase the mint green dial / jubilee “unworn” on the grey market for a hefty premium and despite never advocating grey market prices, I know I will never get this watch at retail. I’d rather have and enjoy the watch now, and move forward. I consider this a grail and while it was overpriced, I’m happy to move forward. There’s a lot of talk about ADs playing games…which does happen, but as someone who has been loyal to the same AD long before the hype, I genuinely believe that certain models really are low production vs. high demand. Skydweller and Daytona models may only come to your AD 2-3 times per year. It’s logical that these models have to go the absolute best customers. Unless I want to spend $1 million + every year, I will never be that customer. At least I got the exact model I wanted, with certainty and not spending on items I have no interest in owning. Long response, but there’s a lot to your question.

@@dinhtran-ld4hz Rolex does a great job at "hyping" up new dials or models. They target which example gets the most media attention. In return, the secondary market price skyrockets given the "hype."
@@Chris_Warnes but how is that over hype? Yes it’s hype or marketed well as all good product in the world are. From that hype of being great the buyer love it so much that the 2nd hand market price pretty much stay the same two years after release. Over hype would be to me the white dial speedmaster release back in April, media and omega told everyone it’s a year plus wait with hundreds in the wait lists from every Omega Store. The 2nd hand market price 2x for the first month. 3 month later you can walk into any Omega and buy it and second hand now below listing. So that’s over hype.

I agree. And the look has grown on me a bit as of late too

Well done my friend!
Appreciate you & see you tomorrow. Bring your rain jacket 🧥
Crazy how the DJ has the same dial color, but for some reason the SD just wears that mint green a lot better
Wild! You’re right. Maybe that’s why the mint green SD came to life 🙏🏼🔥
Love this but I’ve got to admit the blue over the green in the flesh
The blue dial hits HARD on the SD. You are right 🔥
@@Chris_Warnes absolutely. My DJ41 is blue dial also so would be very similar if I kept them both.
@EMKWANREVIEWS all the blue haha
When your watch dealer is running a 501(3)(c)-caution
This statement intrigues me. What do you advise caution for?
I am surprised that green is still very much popular among watch collectors. I don't think it is just a passing trend and I like it.
Agreed, it’s been here and will stay. Keep an eye on purple, I predict it’s next 🙏🏼
I think the rhodium / grey dial will be next
@@jeffreyf4074 I like this. Do you see the price increasing or falling?

I think what your are seeing is most complications not most complicated.
I can see that, I’d actually say both. Rolex publicly states “most complicated” on their site
I love the watch just not the size. For me, I’ll stick with the mint datejust 36mm.
No shame there, also an excellent example of Rolex Green! May you wear in great health, abundance and prosperity!!
If only it was in 40 mm case. Would have been an absolute star! I think 42 mm is just too big for my 7 inch wrist..
Haha yeah the 42mm SD might be a touch too big. Maybe mint green DJ? Slimmer case
@@Chris_Warnes Yes it's a good alternative but the complications on Sky Dweller are too good.
@@Benderrr111 Only only option is to make your wrist bigger! haha
