Not only is she super talented but I just love her personality. I feel like she makes the models feel so comfortable and is so good at directing. Love how these pictures came out ❤
Jessica Kobeissi has showcased her talent for many years, and it still continues to manifest within her that she should go to such lengths to prove how worthy she is of recognition.
I'm sure she didn't go to Paris JUST to show us TH-cam watchers that she can do photography well. This channel is part of her success & has everything to do w her career. Why wouldn't she post things like this?
It's so cute and different to see you with a cute ponytail and a scrunchie with a bow on it. I love your work and how real you are in these videos. Wish you spoke better to yourself cuz you are an amazing photographer but it also makes it very relatable so thank you either way.
Would we ever get a Video where you start with the photo shoot, then choosing the best photos(and why you chose certain photos over others), and then editing? The whole process
If you ever visit Argentina I suggest these places: 1) Purmamarca (Jujuy province) - specially the 7 colors hill- 2) Caminito (Buenos Aires) 3) Iruya (Salta province) 4) Iguazu Waterfalls (Misiones province) 5) Perito Moren's glacier (Santa Cruz province) 6) Talampaya (La Rioja province) 7) Los Palmares (Entre Rios province) 8) Villa Langostura (Neuquén province) 9) Río Mina Claver (Córdoba province) 10) Monumento a la bandera (Santa Fé province)
Great video Jessica , really nice photos i have 1 question i didnt see any red ring around that lens u used 😁,im curious what lens did u use in this shoot ?
I miss the retouching videos while you were talking about anything. ❤ Come to Milan though, I could help assisting you with anything for free, just to have fun and have an aperitivo. I’ve been watching your TH-cam videos all these years, thanks to you I learned how to retouch. Ok I need to stop the fan boy moment haha I’d love to meet you some day Jessica 🙏🏽
You could have done so much more with that reflector.... You are amongst tall buildings, the light is diffused, not much point in filling in from below, except for catch lights, it’s a bit like in studio just using a softbox from below without having a key light... A better way would be to create a key light with the reflector, holding it from above, higher than the model’s head, introducing natural looking soft shadows. Fair enough that there aren’t rules that fits all, rules can be broken, however the general guidelines for reflectors are that is a fill light to a key light or in absence of key light it has to mimic a key light, and a key light can’t be below the horizon.
I was going to ask about this also, seen a few vids of late asking why people in studio light from above then go outside with a reflector and automatically light from underneath the subject. I'm no Pro so curious why there seems to be a mixed opinion or attitude to the use of reflectors outside.
@@ShadowlightPhotography when outside the way that a reflector is used is generally dictated by the natural lighting conditions, if the subject is in a soft diffused light or in a shadowed area the reflector is used as key light, the same if the subject is backlit from the sun; it gets used as a fill in from below if the subject is front lit by the sun. Obviously there are situations where you can use it differently, specially if there are multiple reflecting surfaces around. I think that the misconception that a reflector has to be used from below comes from films with scenes of photoshoots, either because there is a key light to bounce off and fill in or simply because it looks more theatrical and easier to do for an extra. Being a Pro or not is a counterintuitive subject if not controversial, as it isn’t really measurable, at best loosely measurable, still open to a multitude of interpretations. Some take into consideration if making money from it or not, primary source of income or not, have you been published or not, some look at achievements, proficiency, time served; then there is the social media world that is a totally different ballgame, only a small percentage are actually time served veterans earning their livelihood from photography, unless you count TH-cam royalties and sponsorships as being generated from photography.
If you are a photographer just go to any model agency and if your pictures are good they will give you a model to test, if you get great pictures they will give you another. I don't know how this youtube photographer got this model, she doesn't explain. I couldn't find much online about her so I'm assuming she is just a 'youtube photographer', but if she has a list of Vogue credits to her name please forgive me.
what are the chances that you will be at the florence and the machine show next monday in Paris and I will meet you there or will be seated next to me omg girl if that happens say hi
Not only is she super talented but I just love her personality. I feel like she makes the models feel so comfortable and is so good at directing. Love how these pictures came out ❤

Couldn’t agree more. She’s so talented ❤
