  • In addition to making new driving harness I also specialize in repairing and renovating old leatherwork. This video captures some of the interesting artefacts that are in my workshop at present. From a child's Victorian pony saddle to a bridle for a pit pony and several more items that need careful restoration. Please excuse not viewing my face, the items on my workbench are far more interesting and can be seen in close up.
Once I have carried out the work on the leatherworks I shall shoot the "after" video. In the meantime I trust you will enjoy an insight into the craft of the saddler and harness maker.
For those of you who would like to contact me, my web site is www.Rob-HarnessMaker.com & my email is Rob-HarnessMaker@Outlook.com
I always endeavour to reply to emails within 48 hours.
Thank you for viewing. Regards, Rob

Thanks, its great when you open a ladies side saddle up and find a signed and dated lable of the saddler who made it. I'll cover that sometime to show you all.

Must be like stepping back in time looking at other people's work.

@@shaneoconnor6079 Certainly does Shane. I have a board with a collection of saddle labels attached plus several items from when I had the museum. Thanks, you've given me an idea to film some of these 100 year old+ items. Keep a watch out. Rob

As you can see I've only had this channel for 2 days so please do return as I've got several projects in the pipeline. And if you or anyone else would like more videos a click in the "Subscription" box would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Rob
